hey man, thanks for answering my question and for all the kind words! fs i think in a perfect world it would be insane if we were able to keep both millsy and bo but yeah i agree i think millsy was the right choice! also btw its pronounced "h jor-ah" haha its a combination of my initials but my last name is pretty different so it happens a lot!
I barely watched hockey anymore two years ago, then I found hockey psychology, and then your channel, and now I have cancelled my other streaming subscriptions because I would rather watch hockey. Channels like you are absolutely a net positive for the NHL and growing the game. You are a huge reason I remain a loyal canucks fan becuase spaces like this make it fun and collaborative which is what I want from a fan experience.
Exactly, I love also taking about the things I love doing, I love talking about my hobbies and the like, I can't make a job out of it yet but there is always a chance that some day I can.
I was wondering if the recent changes had affected the channel. Can’t believe the league wonders why the game isn’t growing when they are so greedy and do stuff like this to members of the community that grow the game… I hope you continue to make videos anyways with the copyright issues!
Watching your prediction after watching the LA game is painful :( As much as I want to chalk this up to The Kings being annoying, the first period gave me crazy flashbacks to the Jets game. Still, I love this team with my whole heart, and I'm too stubborn to give up on them. Hot take: I think Vancouver will be hesitant to trade Miller because if they do, they'd be risking not re-signing Brock Boeser. Him and Miller are a really great duo, so although Boeser has been with Vancouver his entire nhl career, I think if Miller were traded, he might look for a change in scenery. But from the looks of it, Vancouver isn't even trying to re-sign him anyway, so maybe this isn't much of a hot take... Love your videos, though. Keep it up!
I cancelled my premium sportsnet plus because of the NHL's handling of not only this, but literally every aspect of the game and media is mismanaged. I have a thing about punishing bad companies for bad business.
I think that since the NHL does have the copyright, creators will have to forgo using copyrighted content. You're all in the same boat together so you're just going to have to change your game in order to win. Where have we heard that before?
Come one. Let’s talk about how the Vancouver media is horrible, and has been for years they don’t ask tough questions they ask questions to get reactions out of the players
Miller's better than Bo, but I think Bo would've FIT better with Petey/Hughes(so lesser highs/lows if they went that route). Personal view is that Miller/Petey are polar opposites in how they approach their craft. Petey internalizes his struggle(Petey can get too down on himself to a point where he'll almost be sabotaging his game by overthinking and hesitating, but he's wired to dig/scratch at the details in his game to find his fixes), Miller externalizes his struggles(he'll get angry on ice, then create someone to antagonize/check out, he did it to Green and Boudreau too). Both of these approaches can bring their respective benefits and drawbacks, and I think the Miller type makes more sense to "old school" hockey thinking, but at the same time, Miller isn't the type to be able to slow a game down/staunch the bleed when a game is starting to slide(Petey's struggles rears its head when he slides multiple games and nothing he's trying seems to be working out), but Petey can't act as that adrenaline shot to wake guys up either. Again, both approaches have their own strengths and drawbacks, but the biggest issue IMO is how Miller will filter out coaching/divergent voices(I'm sure he's thinking about it, but his instinctive reaction to criticism is to "idunno" it and deflect, but if that was as far as it went, Miller wouldn't be a player in the NHL, much less a pretty effective one when he's on it).
Every long playoff run in canuck history has been due to sneaking in (Except 2011) 24 Seasons We missed the playoffs (Not counting the lockout year 16 times we were out in round 1, 10 times we made the 2nd round (Including 1974-1975 where we had a bye into it), and 3 times we made the finals, Zero times have we been out in round 3. also 10 times we lost to the eventual champion and 3 times to the runner up But 1982 We were not expected to beat the flames, 1989 everyone said 4-0 Sweep and we took the flames to 7 games, 1994 everyone said the flames would kill us, we won 3 games in OT after being down 3-1 in the series. 2011 We almost Borked it against Chicago so even when we don't sneak in nothing is a given.
Yeah, being a fan of a sports team is actually kind of funny as a concept. Nothing wrong with it, though. Another thing I'll note: I both like and dislike teams with absolutely zero regard to whether they are good or not. The Oilers are pretty good right now and I hate them. The Bruins are not very good and I hate them.
Nice video. Hope the NHL stops with the stupid copyright shit. 😠
At this point it really does seem like it was some sort of error. Haven’t had any problems since Tuesday.

fair use is not a right it a defense. In the current law copyright the line between fair use and copy right issue is very small
Does the nhl dislike growth?
Can you legally use the word NHL?
Canucks just lost 5-1 to the kings

They clearly don't like you using their footage in the first place.. hence all the flagging. So, stop doing it! 🙄
