I disagree... the piano is a foundational instrument but it shouldn’t be overpowering the rest of the band .. I can’t remember any live shows with professional sound engineers that mix this way.. and if you said was the true. Y are the horns louder than the organ.. it’s mostly preference of the Musical Director
That’s my boy Tubbs on the organ he’s a quiet storm trust me he’s one of the legends and well known in the music industry that’s humble!!! Great guy.....
Wow! That was so refreshing to hear! Everyone in the band is locked-in to their role and playing it to perfection. Loren and Tubbs are monsters! And the horns are hitting right on time!
Who ever did their mix is so on point. This is the best audio I heard on youtube in a while. The live feed sound mix is balanced and clear. From others either the singer is extremely loud over the music, or the drums are cutting everyone else out. Even the horn section is clear and not overbearing. Good job who ever's responsible.
Alejandro Walters Thank you sir! Mix could have used a tad more B3 and GTR and Percc. But you are right, we strive to bring the same or better sonic quality to the masses on the same level as a major secular artist tour or tv special.
I don’t think the organ is too quiet but the keys are way too loud. Clearly the keys player has done the mix, you can see him do it. Not enough of horns or organ in key moments. You don’t want anything to overpower but this sounds like the keys player is no1 and everyone else is underneath.
I am a Hispanic Christian musician from Puerto Rico and in the 70s and 80s we played in that style, but like you no one can. You have the gift of God and only you sound that good! It fills me with joy to hear you. Go ahead, never stop worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ with that grace! Amen!
I’m glad the Saints have such good music to praise God in the Holy Dance. Even when I was a little girl in the Country, they just had a guitar and tambourines, and lawd didn’t it sound good! Now, over 40 years later, they’ve added a few instruments, but the music still has that Anointing on it that makes you wanna dance for Jesus! I was so pleased to see a church in Asia having church and they were praising God in the dance! 😀
I’m talking about sat in my car and waited until this was over. This band is incredible and that organ “rumble” bout took me out!!!! This is it!! I love how they are in sync and nobody is calling out changes (a signal here and there) they just vibing and having a good time.
Musicians are playing these traditional songs effortlessly. Love those chord progressions guys. I get Joy listening and shouting to this music! Hallelujah!
It was the chords the piano player so effortlessly laid down that got me. My gawd!!! Did anyone else hear them? I was like, where did that chord come from...and that one...and that one, too!!! I wish I could hear that and then play what I hear in my head, like he does. He was seeing and hearing the notes BEFORE he played them outwardly. That's a message right there in itself!!!
The keys only looks down at his keyboard like 3 times in the entire performance. How do you reach the point where you know consistently where all they keys are at every single moment?
Loren Dawson on keys. Thats a whole gospel piano clinic right there. Would be great if we could get a congregational song tutorial from him on what he played here. That`s some serious stuff right there.

And they are having fun with this. This is great!

Outrageously talented individuals working together to produce something far bigger than the sum of the parts. It just doesn't get better than this!

Josh Stevens it has but over the past years the organ has been toned down way too much in gospel music. I remember the organ used to shine in its own way but now it’s barely heard in the background of gospel music. Organ is the soul of gospel music and this is coming from a keyboard player
