I visited Dunedin on my honeymoon eight years ago. I discovered recently that my great-great grandfather emigrated there and died exactly one hundred and twenty years to the day that I got married. Little did I know that I'd be in the city that's the furthest from my home city of London in the world, yet one of my ancestors was buried only a mile or so from where I was. Beautiful, wonderful country - I can't wait to visit again!
I was born in Dunedin, and lived there for fifty years. A very beautiful, friendly city, a different way of life. I'm somewhat homesick now, after watching this video.
You will love it I can guarantee :) Dunedin is my home and always will be, I truely love it here! Where are you coming from? We tend to get pretty good weather in Nov, usually quite sunny. It may not be the hottest, but you should get good sunshine!
i lived in Dunedin in 1993... though i didnt have a nice time, i recognized it was beautiful. I played soccer for waikiari rose... do anybody knows if they still play in second division? Im from Madrid.
