This song is kind of an underrated masterpiece.
When nostalgia hits, and it hits hard
Ninnus Even though I haven't played Tiberian Sun until now (yeah, I've played RA2 only, duh), this song just sounds nostalgic on its own.
like a bolt of ion
the song fits perfect to ambiance in the game
True Nimmus, hits very hard.
Used to play this game since i was 5, still play it
one of the best atmospheric strategy in the 90s
10/10
This game needs remaster as well
While a remaster would be nice, there is another solution inregards to TS ... I've just recently downloaded this mod: www.moddb.com/mods/cncreloaded . It is a mod for RA2YR which brings into it elements from TS-FS, effectively making it a TS in the RA2 engine - this means quick tiberium deposits at the refinery, oil derricks and other tech buildings and navy for both the GDI and NOD. They also have some new powers, NOD especially. Skirmish maps are a mix of both TS and RA2 maps and the modders also update with campaign missions. RA2 factions are also playable, so you can have, say GDI vs Soviets - although with RA2, individual nations are disabled and actually merged into the corresponding faction. Yuri also got some new unis.
No. You dont need a remaster. You need to re install it or use a mod to run it.
I recently downloaded a N64 emulator. Finished Goldeneye and working on the Ocarina of Time (using a xbox360 controller, for uktimate N64 blasphemy haha)
This game needs a Fallout style FPS-open world RPG.
ION STORM APPROACHING!
ION STORM APPROACHING!
(Radar gone, world turns yellow-ish, lightning hits everywhere)
HARVESTER UNDER ATTACK!
+CABAL And all your airborne aircraft or jump-jet troopers are wiped out...
Then you hear the constant yells from the soldiers.
Oh the days :')
Medic!
+CABAL
You forgot to display ION STORM HERE!
If the apocalypse ever comes, I will listen to this song while the world is burning
My Childhood...I'm cry.
Hi cry im dad
and mine, too ... )
Nostalgic song. Nice game. Played for long time.
and mine, too ... its better games in 90 s .....
I wish C&C 3 had iconic music like this. Imagine, had things been different, we would of had a third tiberian based soundtrack from Frank Klepacki
For that matter - if every CnC game after TibSun and RA2 were made by alive and kicking Westwood, not ea or whatever
When I was on the Defend the Kodiak mission, I made sure this was the only song on loop.
I love listening to this when it's raining. And dat Nostalgia.
It was pouring this morning in Oregon, and this was my first thought when I woke up. So I came here and did it.
This track is, for me, the most nostalgic and sad music there is.
Because, I've been playing tiberian sun since I was 4, and still play it sometimes at the age of 25.
This game was, for good and bad, my best friend right up untill age 10 or so.
The thing is, humans aren't reliable, you can't always trust them or have fun with them, but video games are for life, that's how I thought as a kid, I remember my father showing me the game for the first time, maybe it was 2002-2003.
I will NEVER forget this game, NEVER.
It reminds me of my sophomore year of college back in the fall semester of 1999. It’s funny I remember going to game stop to buy this game. I really miss those days!
Gamestop sold PC games back then?
Yeah, back in the old school days.
@@Razgriz_01 umm yeah dude, the whole digital only thing for PC Games didn’t start until the mid 2010s
@@gabrieltejada1697 Ah I remember now. Though it wasn't a lot of PC games on gamestop's shelf. It was the same games you would see on places like Wal-Mart. Mostly EA or Blizzard games.
@@Razgriz_01 yeah and so did walmart, i remember them selling tf2 for PC when you still had to buy it
So haunting... this literally popped into my head not having played this game for many years. Now 1 am it suddenly pops into my head... just knew I had to find it and listen to it... gona listen to the other menu ambient track after this one. Fuk me this soundtrack has a vibe, like few others I have ever heard
We need more games with this graphic engine !
The isometric RTS at its best. I wish someone would remake Dune 2000 for it, balancing factions by the way.
I wish isometric rts makes a come back. Its a neat style thats not outdated, will never be outdated.
But only in 2d. I do not like RTSes in 3d...
Try the mods, Twisted Insurrection and 2nd Tiberium War are good mods for it.
@@stroggosaw299 C&C Generals is one of exceptions, it is a really good 3d rts
I listened to this song as a kid in order to fall asleep after I had moved from my home town. It reminded me of what I had lost.
Thanks for the HQ upload! I have the original Tiberian Sun soundtrack CD but for whatever reason they didn't include this track.. :(
sm3YT Yea, cos Iron Storm is only available at "Firestorm" Expansion Pack :)
im gonna play tiberian sun now
play in cncnet online
Such memories and music brings it all back... makes me want to install one more time!
Best game track ever.
BEST SONG in the game!!!!
*So beautiful, I'm gonna feed this in while i'm playing X-Com Enemy Unknown using a Belkin mixer, Ion Storm sounds exactly like Mark Isham's 'Keys' from The Hitcher* *soundtrack 1986. Must have influenced him.*
That's a good catch. Definitely some similarities on the later parts. It's funny how Ion Storm in the contrast of other Tiberian Sun songs feels almost too ambient, but when you listen Keys that shit goes even deeper with the slow and ambient elements. If you haven't heard already, you might also enjoy this kind of stuff from Chris Zabriskie. Check out "I Knew My Way Downtown and Walking Was Deluxe" and "Oxygen Garden"
@@meanmole3212 wow, I knew My Way Downtown.. is extremely beautiful.. thanks for sharing that, reminded me a bit of Tangerine Dream soundtrack in Firestarter movie but more cleaner and Airy... check out my electronic/ambient/cold wave... playlist on my channel I think you will find some amazing talents which you will really love. Some recommendations would be Velvet Cacoon - Atropine, Trist - Hin Fort, Forest Silence - Winter Circle ( & all the incredible early work ), also about Keys and Ion Storm, its funny how in the Movie The Hitcher the Keys ambiance comes about when there is a dust storm kicking up =) def was an influence on Ion Storm, cant beat that distinctive 80's synth wave sound like you get in movies like Manhunt 1986, or the early 90's like in Terminator 2, amazing, Mark Snow's work on X-Files is amazing also. Anyways thanks again, if you know more artists like Chris Zabriskie with work like I knew My Way Downtown please share. Kind regards Sen
nice upload, best quality ive heard yet
Fucking nostalgia
Some how EA should add Ion Storms and Tiberium Lifeforms into Red Zones in Tiberium Wars in the first place. GDI's ZOCOM will be useful to wipe out the Tiberium Lifeforms.
@@BobSmith-es5wc Tiberium Essence 2.0 Mod for C&C3, you can play also with the Mutants now
большое тебе спасибо за эту заливку!
даже не представляю где ты нашёл его в таком качестве... или может даже рипнул, но снова - откуда - даже в игре она не в таком качестве
Нейросетью дополнил качество?

they dont do like that no more. ..when you spend quarter of night because of that, ..no more, dont know
Something about this reminds me of Vegeta in deep, deep thought...
Can't just be me who thought of this when travelling the Glowing Sea in Fallout 4.
You aren't, but I was thinking this and "Lone trooper" when wandering around the deserted southern part of the map.
My childhood was kinda gloomy, like this theme
Playing this during radstorm in Fallout 4
too bad this isnt applied to the kanes wrath or tw3 missions
thats what made this game a masterpiece
yellow in game storm
no flying units
no tracks only storm
no radar
u got not only to fight your main enemy but an unepxected storm raging at your base
Ion storm detected
Its like fallout 2 in RTS :D
OMG i AM so desperate to play C&C tiberian sun but WHY every sense the game seems broken in w7
now is end of November and i managed to play C&C tiberian sun... and i am pleased! now i am playing game with enjoy
norchaaa glad you could play it, I mean Tiberian sun is a great classic, the atmosphere takes you so hard, not to mention the music. Ion Storm and Heroism are my favourite tracks.
+norchaaa when you play it, end process for Windows Explorer on the Task Manager. It helps with old 2D games
dallzerz actually i am playing the game since nov 2014... no need to end of any processes of task manager. the root folder of the C&C is located in C:/ disc but one thing is the game sometimes crash
i know where you can play cncnet go their
