everyone’s comments literally expresses how I feel! long bright river sounds good as I am a recovering addict from opiates! it’s been a struggle, and I read a lot of memoirs about addiction, probably too many honestly but they help me so much because so many of them end in success and it helps me stay clean. much love from Florida! 💙
so happy that you've been putting out more vides and feeling up to it! i love watching them it makes me feel like we are together, hanging out again :)
Yay goals! Yay being realistic while optimistic! Yay rewarding yourself!!!! The easiest way I found to keep myself from falling into a depression hole is making lists on lists on lists of the things I need to do (not for people who get overwhelmed easily lol). Even if what I've done that day wasn't originally on my list, I'll write it on just to cross it off haha.
I bought A Little Life after I saw your video on it since it was $2 for the kindle. AND OH MY GOD. I read it in like a week and a half. The writing is beautiful and I couldn’t put it down. It’s absolutely one of my favorites now. I’m actually going to buy the hardcover so I can have it on my shelf since having it on my kindle isn’t satisfying 😂
My silver pothos is my favorite plant guy! I hang mine from a ceiling hook (not sure if you can do that in your apartment) but it trails SO far. Mine is all around the living room
ooooh I'm really excited to hear what you think of Out of Love! Heard good things and it sounds like something that would really be my jam but I haven't picked it up yet. Trying to get through the Witcher books right now but it has some major written-by-a-man vibes and I roll my eyes every other page. Love the new plant!
Loved this video! Your hair looks so good! Did you dye it recently? Love the color! Also can you please talk about tv shows and movies you're currently watching? Would love some recommendations!
i haven’t really been watching anything actually. when i do i will mention it though! thanks for your recommendations for things to share and talk about and as for hair thank you! i haven’t dyed it in over a year now. trying to get it back to my natural 💛
I read Journey by the same author right after Alchemist and ended up liking Journey more (weird cause A gets alllll the hype, maybe to detriment?), so that's my rec if you're into the writing style by the end of it! :)
I spy Skippy Dies! dope. Also, let's talk Narnia! You don't haaaaave to read them all, but reading Magician's Nephew first gives good backstory for the series. You can skip Horse and His Boy. Be prepared to cry at the last battle. The last time I read the series was awhile ago, so my recollection isn't perfect. Also the last time I read it, I wasn't looking for the religion. I'd just ignore that if it is your first time reading the series. These books were written for kids, so they should read quicker than your average fiction, which helps if you aren't digging them right out the gate. Best of luck, and I can't wait until you start reading them.
it's a lot easier when one is fiction and one is non fiction but i suppose here it was manageable seeing as they were all vastly different; it wasn't easy to get worlds/characters mixed up. i find reading more than one book at a time helps me get more reading done because if i want a break from one i can hop over to the other :)
I hate when these videos end. They could go on forever and I’d be perfectly fine with that. Lol. I love them!
Depression has been kicking my ass this week. I’m up at 4AM watching this video and it cheered me up a lot, so thanks. Love to see you thriving.
Katie Elizabeth ❤️❤️❤️
this healed my soul.

"I need to eat rice" might be one of the most relatable things I've ever heard you say

I love the new plant friend! I have one of those as well and I was told it was a satin pothos but I'm not sure. I just bought the alchemist too!!
Watching your videos is like putting on a warm sweater on a chilly autumn day. ♥

PEANUT CHEESE ! (?)
you heard right!
How do you read 3 books at once?
it's a lot easier when one is fiction and one is non fiction but i suppose here it was manageable seeing as they were all vastly different; it wasn't easy to get worlds/characters mixed up.
i find reading more than one book at a time helps me get more reading done because if i want a break from one i can hop over to the other :)
What happened to her? =/
