I have a 21’ sportster 883, did the 1200 kit, 2-1 two brother racing exhaust, s&s air intake, Vance and Hines fp3 tuner, lucky Dave t-bars, saddlemen, bike was $14k new all upgrades like 6k. I wish I went with a lowrider, bagger etc, spent so much upgrading, won’t sell it because like you said I will loose to much, next bike will be lowrider st tho
People who don’t love sportsters will never get it. I absolutely love my 1200, and will probably have it forever. Whatever money I put into it, is for my enjoyment.
I mean when it comes to speed an being a long haul comfortable ride... you'd have to do ALOT to a sportster to make it those! But fuck all them haters its your bike and it's a badass sporty! I have a 1985 ironhead I can't wait to spend money on an bring her out the stable!!!
21:50 I'm tall and skinny, and weight about 178 pounds. I have a hard time riding my low rider, I can't imagine riding an 883. I love what you did to yours tho.
To each their own. Had my 05 Sportster for 12 years I love it wouldn't trade it on a dyna ever. Nothing against dynas just not for me. I would however add a low rider st to the stable.
Ehh, I still prefer to buy from the American name brands. The finishing from my experience is better (the anodizing doesn’t fade as much). But also, they create original designs. Amazon just copies the designs they made, and then sells them for cheaper.
True, on everything you mentioned. The name brand manufacturers do spend a ton on R&D. But my Sportster has been holding up well for the last 2 years 👍

💯💯💯! My sportster seats taller, but the distance from the seat and foot controls are the same. It’s a perfect fit for my size 👍

Sportsters are straight up classic harley's and you can do anything with them. Anyone that actually hates them just pointless
