I imagined a little stealth game during this tipe of scenario where everybody is on the gym and you get the chance to get rid of your DNA or anything that could link your to the crime. All of this while police is guarding the school grounds,(or before they start the investigation) maybe with a timer so you hurry to get back to the gym to avoid suspicion.
This is interesting! I also thought of ways that Ayano could avoid getting DNA onto the first in the first place. Like by wearing gloves and a haircap, putting out a new outfit right before committing murder, and then taking it all off to burn/wash. It could be interesting.
This is a great concept, I'd love to see a part 2! Another idea I thought of is maybe witnesses don't actually have to witness you commit the crime, but suspicious actions that could possibly connect you to the crime, such as: - witnessing you holding a weapon/item related to the murder - seeing that you were the last one to talk to the victim - noticing that you were around the body shortly after the victim died - noticing that you were stalking the victim - noticing that you were crouching/crawling around the school I'd also love to see a minigame if the police asks you where you were at the time of the murder and you choose a place where other people were but you weren't, that would be highly suspicious.

It would be interesting if you put DNA on certain places like saliva on their lips and hands on their chest (if it's a non bloodied corpse) to make it look like you were doing cpr on the corpse in an attempt to resuscitate. But you would need to have a cpr license (either gotten legitimately by taking a one night class that provides you with a license afterwards but costs about 100$) or get a forged one from info chan for 15-20 info points

I really like these ideas. As the game stands the police will overlook anything that isn't a weapon related kill, even though it makes no sense. The idea of leaving DNA at the scene is interesting, there are so many ways someone could leave a trace that it's nearly impossible to remove all traces of your DNA from a scene. The other thing that really stands out is the police determining whether or not a crime was a homicide or accident. I'm very interested to see how the other accident kills could be handled
Having a cutscene like this of Police actually doing something seems more satisfying i always felt like the police kinda gave me some kind of "stupid vibe" this is way better
I feel like all of this should span days or weeks, not in one day. If a school goes into lockdown, you'd be able to play it normally but there is police on campus and questioning everyone, giving the player chance to hide more evidence or smth. For intentional murders, instead of the atmosphere dropping, there can be police presence wandering around the school for days, weeks, or the whole duration of the game while collecting evidence. I'd also think the police can be smarter. No fingerprints? Can deduce the murderer may be use gloves or smth. No weapon found? If there are marks from a weapon, they are to look for the type of weapon used and can go from there to see if the murderer is righthanded/lefthanded, short or tall, small or large frame, etc. If a person is missing after 48 hours, they can question students (possibilities can be being a runaway or murdered depending on reputation or something). They can also search possible places that can cause bodily harm or a corpse can be found. Incinerator? There can be traces of burnt human flesh or bones. Buried? Well, there is the dog but the police can have doubt if a dead animal is on top of the corpse. yeah.
Idea: you give yourself a small cut or say that a friend hurt themself and then go to the nurse and ask for the disinfecting spray. If the atmosphere is high then the nurse would just give you the spray without asking questions. Low atmosphere however, the nurse would be suspicious and ask questions like: can your friend come to me? What kind of injury? Is it small? Was there blood? Answering wrong could raise her suspicion and if a body is found, she'll inform the police about you. If you gave yourself the cut, she'll treat you at the nurses office. Like another comment said: wet wipes would be an alternative to this, you could also use wet wipes when picking up a weapon or while using it. Other student would also use wet wipes if its a tool or sporting equiptment. I imagine different clubs (sports, occult, cooking, science, student council) would be diligent/required by the school to clean their equiptment after use. Other students would also wipe down tables/lockers during cleaning time. So if you stored a body in a locker, you could wipe off fingerprints or blood from the handles and nobody would suspect you. The police should also have a suspicion meter like one cop suspects this student and another suspects ayano. If all members suspect ayano, she'll be questioned as a lead suspect, if they all suspect a rival then they would be the lead suspect. If the police beluve the crime might be staged, they wont arrest the rival. If the rival has an alibi, the police will let her go, and move on to a different suspect. If ayano has an alibi then the same thing. If a rival doesnt have an alibi, they will questioned further, same for ayano. If all members of the police believe ayano committed the crime, they will arrest her, the same thing will also happen to your rival.
I always wondered where would Ayano put the bottles after she poisoned a student's food. Also with this killing Raibaru would actually be a challenge, since most people drown her after poisoning her food. The Player would be forced to clean all evidence (which would be hard since there are bullies and photograpy club members in the bathroom) or go for a temporary distraction (like giving her chips, completing Budo's task, droping a weapon infront of her and making her take it back to it's place ect)
Do this concept: dodging pepper spray attack by student council. Example: when ayano either carries/or tampering with a dead body, killing someone in front of her, pushing her 5 timeses, there would be a minigame similar to when ayano fights the delinquents but very hard and you have to time it very fast(it’s exactly like fighting budo Masuta in very hard mode) but if you miss one key/button (depending on if your playing on keyboard or controller) then you will get pepper sprayed but if you manage to make it then the student council member that you just foght, then the student council member would run off to the police station(you have to clean up the evidence, ps the quotes may vary depending on the member you fought) it’s optional but please do this(I appreciate it)
oh, and the distance between Ayano and the body when it is discovered by someone could play a role, like rn she could be standing right on the body and she's not suspicious at all as long as she's not bloody or visibly insane and, if she moved the body (as she leaves her fingerprints on it) but reported it to a teacher, it would give her an explanation as to why there are traces of her dna and, a random mention, but if students don't see any blood around the student, they should check if they're alive before running away, like check their pulse or something, this could incriminate them as then their fingerprints would be on the body and if they carried a baseball bat and someone noticed it, Ayano could send them to prison lying she thinks they're the killer as they could've killed them with that baseball bat (notice how students only notice it when Ayano is holding it but not anyone else) and if at least 4 other students saw that they'd go to jail, though it could be too easy to eliminate rivals and stuff
This is one of the most ambitious and well-executed concepts in the game (of course, the other ones are just as good). It gives a lot of possibilities and further perspectives and scenarios in the future. Amazing work.
really nice concept, it would be also interesting if the player for ex would do some sus things, but some of the students didnt really mind it when they saw it first. but after they have understood what happened, they are like oh dear, its sus and tell the police abt it. so basically this is not direct evidence, but if there are too many of it then the police will arrest ayano. for ex if ayano wears a gym uniform and victim was killed with a sharp weapon and if some of the students have seen that ayano carried that sharp weapon (not knife but scissors for ex), its becoming sus. ofc it needs many of it so yeah. hope u got what I mean.
Hi, this is awesome. But Technical Limitation will prevent this to implement. There's lot of variables in consideration to implement a very detailed investigation like this
abt the first system, I feel like instead of the police inspecting the body it should be taken to a autopsy lab for professionals to inspect it because normal police officers probably wouldn't have the skills to do that！
for death methods where it causes physically holding the victims, they could look for bruises on the victim or maybe like skin particles under ayano's fingers. it would also be cool if there was more robust witness ai, like witnesses recalling the last time they saw the victim and detectives drawing conclusions based on that
They should have the police actually at the school so when they come instead of immediately finishing the day they start looking around the school while your still there
you know, i was curious if you killed someone with gloves on and the murder weapon had the fingerprints of someone else (the framing method in yandere sim) i thought that you wouldn't get caught, HOWEVER I did some research and something incredible i remembered is that police could tell which persons were in the crime scene room imagine how difficult (or straight up impossible) it would be for Ayano to clean up her dna particles in the room where she killed anyone
What if Ayano has to take some tasks to self report a fake body report to the police and info chan would make a fake id card to frame one of the rivals but Ayano has to do two copy's at a time there would be Lv 1 easy version the Gym teacher would just not pay attention that much but she would still see you if you're not careful enough and the final one is gonna be extra hard but with a practice round and someone might help you even though they might know what Ayano has done in day 1 but some student Councillors would be watching the hallways 100 time's fold but you can disguise yourself as a random student or a student council and no one would be suspicious about you unless there would be a timer on top of the screen so you gotta think for an update might not happen or would happen or what if Ayano got caught and goes to jail but what if Info chan or Ryoba comes in and starts to defend Ayano by kidnapping them all
Somebody actually died at my school (not a murder of course it was a stroke) and it was so quiet for the rest of the week but in this game the students talk like normal

And my school felt like a completely different place afterwards, very unsure and we had multiple measures to safe guard the students and staff. And this game makes death feel very light and easy. Seriously! Doesn't it only go down to 80 or 70 atmosphere for a discoverd corpse? I think it should be 55 for one, and 25 for two. I think Daphne and beuma(I'm sure that's the wrong spelling but you get it) should do a small parole, if it wasn't decare as an accident.

And if the death is ruled as an accident by faulty equipment then the school should shut down for a week for renovations. Death on campus should be a big penalty in the game. That's true for most players, but it is far to easy to get away with murder compared to real life. The only thing to get her in jail is if she has bloody clothes, and a bloody weapon, it should be less than a minute to clean that. (And five witnesses, and low sanity but there's low chances that it would happen) I'd like to remind you, it's a stealth game! It should be tedious, you should have to think about how to get away with it. There's lots of problems with how the police system is in the game, and this is a great idea to make you actually have to do something to not go to jail.

That's true for most players, but it is far to easy to get away with murder compared to real life. The only thing to get her in jail is if she has bloody clothes, and a bloody weapon, it should be less than a minute to clean that.
(And five witnesses, and low sanity but there's low chances that it would happen)
I'd like to remind you, it's a stealth game! It should be tedious, you should have to think about how to get away with it. There's lots of problems with how the police system is in the game, and this is a great idea to make you actually have to do something to not go to jail.
