A very interesting interpretation of the Bach - I love the emotions presented when you play this, so much more melancholy than I have heard it performed before.
I am not sure what the argument is about, but as a pianist and a violist I have played a lot of Bach in my lifetime. The first thing I noticed about this video was her habit of taking a breath one note short of the end of the phrase. I do not have this piece memorized but I know what a phrase is. I listened to it twice and still notice it. Her tone is quite nice but the habit of taking a breath in the wrong place is very distracting to me.

As a flautist myself I do think she takes wayyyy too long breathes. Although it does seem like it used to show expression rather than just long breathes

Não compara renascentistas com músicos, uma coisa não tem nada haver com a outra. Pra ser musico tem que compor e saber o pelo menos o básico de musica, coisa que funkeiro não faz. Eles simplesmente pegam melodias de outras musicas e faz um remix lixo com uma batida de funk. You see, it is suspected that the majority of space is filled with dark matter. However nobody has seen it so far. In my opinion, Bach knew about it. His music is a mirror of the mysterious dark matter.
For those of you bitching about the small breaks between lines... there's something called Breath and also if you read the notations about this piece you'll see it's supposed to have them, otherwise it's too linear and boring.

I think part of what makes the flute sound so wonderful is the breaks in between the music, makes it more personal somehow...
It is very, very difficult to make sense of this piece as a performer. She does so exquisitely.
