I was in the audience for this audition. The cat was a screen projection. Clever how they put it on stage for the TV showing.
I was wondering if it was actually on the screen!! They all looked up in the beginning, just above the stage!

Definitely, behind this cat there's very very highly professional singer. Voice control is somewhere beyond the skyline! It's pleasure to listen him. Last time I had such a pleasure when I was listening George Michael singing "Somebody to love" on concert in memory of Freddy Mercury in 1992. Eager to see his real face. Bravo !
I was listening the version on France Got Talent, which is obviously in French and from 6-months ago. I think it was a different singer, but if so, they chose someone similar. They will also appear on the US version, apparently. If they do, it will be interesting to see if they pick a US singer. The original character of Noodle is mute in the successful animations (or just makes noises) so the animators haven't had a language problem before!!

I think the cat coughing up a "hair ball" was a clue, I believe the signer is Tom Ball. The voice is very similar to Tom's, I think it is him.

The voice had an accent when he spoke, but when he sang, he had no accent.
I found this video about a week ago and I still can't get over it how amazing this is! Not only the voice; but this "animation" upon a screen is mind blowing! And yesterday I found out that Noodle has its own RUclips channel! I've binged all of its episodes & shorts today and came back to this where I found Noodle for the first time! Credits to the creator and singer! Love you Noodle and I'll support ya along the way!

what this video shows is not what the audience saw. They just watched noodle on a tv screen, the stage was empty.

By far this is my favorite audition out of all the auditions I have ever seen on both agt and bgt and I don’t know if I will change my mind ever!

Definitely cgi. You can see the clipping on the bottom of the mic stand whenever it tilts.
It was a screen projection but for TV they were able to put the CGI model on the screen.

he did but he was not 100 sure that was Tom Ball, but he was at least 70% sure it was tom.
he just like to keep it to him self for time to time, not sure why but he like to not be the super nerd all the time. my be 7-8 years ago he will spot it and tell it already but now he changed a little bit.

You can tell by Simon's facial expression that he recognized the voice. Why else do you think the other judge kept asking him who was singing?
I’ve seen this audition about four times. Noodle is really lovely cat. However made it happen technically was very clever. I’m looking forward to seeing noodle again the the future. Really excellent song choice.

This was probably the strangest and coolest audition I’ve ever seen. Very odd but adorable nonetheless.
I think of Noodle as a robot cat built with internal memories to perform tasks. Whoever is behind Noodles is a genius. BTW, what a voice.
How tho? It didn't move like a robot. It moved like a cartoon. So is it a holographic projection? BUt then you wouldn't be able to see it from the side of the stage... I need to understand this. anyone?
It's a bit of a scam to be honest. There is no way the audience, the judges or Ant and Dec actually saw what we saw. It's computer animation which can only be seen on a screen.
@@davidsuttie4192 I agree with you, firstly, what happened to the fur ball? Secondly, if you watch the judges eyes they are directed up rather than down. Thirdly, I have know ideas other than it was all fake….

That was a GOLDEN BUZZER performance. I cant wait to see who is behind it but I know one thing, they are seriously talented and I cant understand why they havent got a record contract or maybe they do? It's a bit like the masked singer but in a different format. Loved this audition and cant wait to see Noodle's next performance.
Probably would have a golden buzzer, but I think the cat skit might have held it back a little.

Tom Ball (the cat singer) had a golden buzzer before in Got talent all star with the song Sound of Silence! maybe they didn't give the golden buzzer this time because it was not a real person singing, they couldn't be sure if it was live singing or pre recorded 😂 but it was 100% live singing if you look up and listen to the singer live, he had the most amazing voice!

Wonderful voice. Even more amazing technology. Was this some sort of 3D projection? It wasn't just a flat scrim facing the audience because Noodle looks round from where Ant & Dec are standing at 2:42 and a few other spots in the video.
iF IT WAS 3D projection they would have made the cat's mouth move whilst singing the words as well.

it is a flat performance. The audience and judges are watching a screen. For the tv audience they used editing and more CGI to make it look like he is on stage instead.
WOW! I'm still in awe of this performance. There are no bounds to the imagination of Noodles creator. Can't wait for it's next performances - will it be a song or maybe an acrobatic performance or a comedy routine. The possibilities are endless. Just WOW!

We had this guy in France and it was a surprise because it was the second time of a contestant who were 2nd a few seasons ago, and he came as this cat and reveal him in semi finals.
His name was Mickael Dos Santos ! I am asking if this is him again or not...

Ok so if this is CGI then it’s perfect. You can see the shadows on the cat on the stage in every frame. The lighting on every hair of fur is perfect as well. If it’s CGI some one spent a lot of money and I mean a lot of money just to do this.
