I spent some time in Los Cruces (about a month) while working on the theater in the University as a union carpenter from Phx about 10 yrs ago. The whole time I was there, the town gave me weird vibes, like I lived there in the past, maybe? Even now, writing this I get the same feeling, like being in twilight zone...I don't know what it means? I would like to go back one day and explore the mtns, maybe then more will come home or be familiar?

I lived there while working for a industrial cooling contractor ftom 98 to 01. I had that same feeling the entire time. Strange. An odd feeling I had been there in another life.

Both of you are in the building trades. Jesus was a carpenter. Maybe it's the spirit of Padre LaRue wanting to lead you to the treasure so that it can be used for doing good. Start thinking greedy thoughts about the gold, and the feeling might go away when you're there.

So the Doc Noss treasure, is not the LA Rue treasure?

Other tales are told of La Rue being flogged to his death by solders from the Church at Victorio Peaks, and all of the people being escorted back to Mexico City! Lots of conflicting tales?
