Thanks for this! I was looking everywhere for a proper MTB review to see if the stem mount would hold up for rough riding and you've given me confidence to try it out.
I got a mount for my gravel bike also. If you look at the jamis renegade video it shows how much of a beating this thing takes on gravel with no suspension. It has never once come off except in a crash when i hit it with my knee and it popped right back on.
I just bought the iPhone X case with the Stem Mount Pro for my MTB. Currently have the Rokform Pro Series Bike Mount and case and the case is pretty heavy with the magnet (but durable) and the mount is too long for shorter MTB stems (mine is 40mm) and my phone tends to turn a little sideways during choppy descents (kinda unnerving). I informed Rokform about the shorter stems and they didn't seem to care (based on the reply). I'm hoping the SP Connect setup is much better. Thanks for the SP Connect product info. Much appreciated!
While riding a Biycycle on the way you're carrying Samsung Galaxy S8+ with yourself waw it's so fantastic that you can take many photos and make some or a lot of videos on your tour or trip the Camera that belongs to Galaxy S8+ is so awesome and clear to make videos and take picture while driving a car, truck or riding schooter or motorbike or Bicycle etc.✊👍👊
I ended up getting the sp connect case not long after shooting this video. I think because I changed phones. I have used it quite a bit and have had no problems with it even after popping it off several times in crashes. I use it just as much for a gopro mount and light mount as I do for a phone mount.
@@thumbthumb5998 no it never did. I got another case with the connection molded in and that went on another phone. I peeled off the tape and replaced it with 3m automotive trim tape stuck it to the new phone. seems pretty bulletproof.
@@twowheelslater7112 Thank. I have the system for my galaxy I just wanted to hear people experience with the sticker because I just ordered a Google Pixel
I also got a Z800 an want to fix my phone at my bike, cause i'll do a big tour in the next few days. The point is that i own a Note8 and SP Connect doesn't offer a case for my phone. So i have to buy the universal moto bundle. But nowdays i have a softcase made out of rubber and i dont know whether it will hold. Would that work as well? Just because i saw you used a OtterBox (hardcase)...
I got an sp case when I changed phones and gave my universal mount to my son. he has the softcase otterbox. I replaced the tape with 3m automotive trim tape which is along the same quality as the tape on the universal mount. He has used it on his mountain bike on an iphone 6 for several months with no problems. That being said your mileage my vary. If the case is fairly ridged and you clean it well with denatured alcohol it may be ok. Nice choice in motorcycles! I love mine I hope you got some extra padding for the seat for touring tho. haha I can only tolerate about 4 or 5 hours in the saddle on mine. Much more padding and it would get in the way playing in the canyons tho.

My one fell off while attaching it and broke the screen protector. Did a review of it on my channel.
I have a Cannomdale with an intellimount thing. But I have a rugged phone (Doogee S88). Can I use this with my phone?

How is this Otterbox setup half a year later?

Nice Kawa out there XD
Thanks. It's finally cooling off enough in Ga to enjoy it.
How big of a bar does it fit? Thx

twowheelslater nice actually think I can get these on my motorcycle bars and save a few bucks
@@hoodprep09 I had a ram mount before this. I like it much better than that. I have been using mine for years now. Nothing has broken yet.
