Thrunite TT10 has the rechargeable battery and brighter for the same price. Better user interface too. Just hate the blinking blue light on the button but a small piece of tape covers it easily. Check it out if you like 21700 batteries.
The price for that light should be more like $65 with the 21700 and integrated charger. They missed the boat on this light, maybe they think we all want to carry a charger as big as the flash light around. Really Dumb.
Fenix (and maybe some others) sell 21700s that has a USB-C port built in. They now have the TK22UE (ultimate edition) that comes with a USB-C compatible battery. I just picked one up for $87. It's the same light with a stainless bezel. I wish they would've just put the USB plug in the light but oh well...
This should have been set up the same as the PD36R. Because it is a thrower it would be perfect on an AR. I prefer Fenix lights because their tail switches are very tactile and responsive. That translates very well to no light/low light scenarios and training. The only drawback is no battery level indicator. If it's going on a rifle if like to be able to see how much battery life I have left. Def a nice a night but Fenix missed a few things. If they add at least a battery level indicator I'll be putting this light on all of my rifles. Great review!
Great review and informative video as always ❗ Thumbs up 👍👍👍👍 I have Fenix TK 15 UE and this flashlight is TOTALLY AMAZING! Water and shock proof. Fantastic build quality. 320 meters beam distance and it is really 320 +/- meters beam distance. I highly recommend also to check that flashlight if you are searching HIGH QUALITY flashlight under 80$
Luminous made the Olight SR90 and the Nitecore TM throwers, and helped make those flashlight companies who they are today. Not to mention the new Acebeam k75 (farthest throwing production flashlight in world) uses Luminous.
was thinking about buy one to replace my olight SR52, but no batt and new charger at current price is no go for me. im sure its great flashlight otherwise.
Hey Chris, nice vid-btw, hadn't seen anything from you in over a month so I upped the notification bell for all. Thought ya might want to know that-actually since Aug.!!! L8TR!!!
LMAO. Excellent. I always wanted a portable flashlight. This Winston Churchill-monument-mounted flashlight I have has a tendency to be moved out of my ability to use them.
Hey, it's portable! Some of the old cynical Chris Tanner humor popping up. Good for you. I agree with one of the other commenters, a bit more variation in subjects might be a good idea, I guess I'm not the only one waiting for some more of that "C'm on guys, we all just wanna use our swords" kind of 'don't take it all too serious' content. On the light... No battery included, no charger and no way to charge the battery or the light using just a USB cable. Hmmm... I can see the idea behind not wanting a charge port with a dinky rubber flap that will break off so the light will no longer be waterproof, but being able to just plug it into your car's 12V charger while en route to some adventure, or just to have it charged and ready to go in case of that 'flat tyre in the dark' situation is a great advantage that may outweigh 100 percent waterproofness for 30 minutes. What I would love to see in a flashlight with a BIG battery like this one is a charge port to charge your phone with, straight from the light that thus can act as a powerbank. It holds more charge than a good phone battery. And it needs a firefly setting that lasts like two months. In case you get stuck in a cave for weeks. Keep up the good work.
Nice light... Looking for another flashlight to have around the house... The price of this flashlight should include the battery and some way to charge it... Plenty of batteries out there that are USB chargeable... For this setup the price isn't worth it... Pass on this one...
FYI: Another reviewer tested this light and it actually measures out at 1800 lumens (Fenix has often under rated their lights). I'm just not a big fan of the Luminus LED's Fenix is using in their newer lights.
Fill me in a bit more on this here portable technology
Batteries not included irritates the living hell outta me.
Yeah well, the TK22UE comes with battery which has usb type C for $110 USD.
Thrunite TT10 has the rechargeable battery and brighter for the same price. Better user interface too. Just hate the blinking blue light on the button but a small piece of tape covers it easily. Check it out if you like 21700 batteries.
Nice light. But no battery? No charger? Think I'll stick to O light.
The price for that light should be more like $65 with the 21700 and integrated charger. They missed the boat on this light, maybe they think we all want to carry a charger as big as the flash light around. Really Dumb.

@@style5tie I wish the switch was a battery indicator as well like the PD36R
A portable flashlight?! Now I've seen it all.
21700 is 35% more volume than the 18650, except it is 70% more energy.
What is your impression of this light vs the Klarus XT12GT? I can't decide which to buy.

I bought the TK22UE since it comes with battery.
Lol my Olight S2R II Baton has the same Luminus sst-40 LED, very fine stuff *oink*
Right, just a smaller head and smaller battery so not as much throw and less lumens
Great review and informative video as always ❗
Thumbs up 👍👍👍👍

very satisfied with my Xtar charger, charges anything chargeable, using it for 18650, 26..., AA, AAA, loads of those around
I bet your vC4 is still working hey?
Which one would you choose tk 22 or tk 16? I am thinking of buying one of those.

21700 lights seem to be replacing 18650's but where will it stop? They are just too big/fat to EDC in my opinion.
Chris, we need a battery charger review. Something with 4, or 6, bays that works on multiple types of shielded and regular batteries.
I used to get all the new flashlights but once I got my Zebralight I stopped using all my other lights. They just sit on my shelf now.
They (fenix) make a 21700 which has USB C charging ability on the battery like they did the 18650 models.
Thrunite has the T2 with a 5k mah 21700 battery with type c charging.
Love the light reviews!
The Nightcore i4 fits 21700 batteries and my 4 bay and 6bay efest chargers fit 21700's
I hope they make the WoW tac a1s with the 21700 battery.
I'd get it.
Can you use the ken onion attachment on the cheaper work sharp model ?
How come no prepper on RUclips has ever tested a 5.11 CFK7 knife. You should do it.
When are you going to review the PD36R?
Been watching your videos for a couple of years now. Why I never subbed before, hell I don't know. But I have now do that's sumthin.
Hey Chris, nice vid-btw, hadn't seen anything from you in over a month so I upped the notification bell for all. Thought ya might want to know that-actually since Aug.!!! L8TR!!!
The new XTAR VC8 charges protected 21700 cells. www.xtar.cc/product/XTAR-VC8-Charger-125.html
LMAO. Excellent. I always wanted a portable flashlight. This Winston Churchill-monument-mounted flashlight I have has a tendency to be moved out of my ability to use them.
for that price it should have a battery
Might wait till competition drives the price down on this whole 21700 system.
does this flashlight have a battery level indicator?
YOU MIGHT NEED A VITAMIN D GROW LIGHT , FOR A NIGHT LIGHT MAN , VITAMIN D COMBATS DEPRESSION VERY WELL !

Please review the pd36r
Make a olight i3uv review vid
1600 lumens out of a light that big? that's it?? my 3.5 inch EDC light has 1500 lumens.
1600 lumens AND + 41000 candela. My Fenix PD36R for exemple its 1600 lumens and aprox. 20000 lumens. Fenix TK22 Ver 2. its twice brighter.
Nice light... Looking for another flashlight to have around the house... The price of this flashlight should include the battery and some way to charge it... Plenty of batteries out there that are USB chargeable... For this setup the price isn't worth it... Pass on this one...
No battery, no way to charge a battery....
Olight 1800 lumens same 21700 battery included best of all is the size much thinner, this fenix is inferior
Fenix has been over the hill for quite awhile now. About the only thing they're notable for is run times, and even that is not really exceptional.
FYI: Another reviewer tested this light and it actually measures out at 1800 lumens (Fenix has often under rated their lights). I'm just not a big fan of the Luminus LED's Fenix is using in their newer lights.
Or get a Convoy C8 for $15.
Did that, but couldn't keep them running. Up In smoke!
But I wanted to be a cool kid!!!
Ur horrible at jokes...I got it though.
that is some funny shit dude
I wish this guy made videos and talked about something else besides those stupid knives , flashlights and simile teenager stuff .
😂
Trump 2020
America F@C& YA!!!

Olight wins this battle of 21700’s.
