Super close game, was fun to watch, if u had more units when u had the fight with the bombards you would of won , only 110 pop and had like ton of food and wood

Oof that first fight with the nizams was a bit brutal to watch. Pretty ballsy going for the church techs without having used it before haha. Honestly I think the biggest mistake was gathering all that would before age up. You could have been gathering it during the age 4up. The slower age up time really reduced the mass you coulda had in that fight. Also not sure if you know but nizams change bonuses depending on the stance they are in. The stand ground srancd gives them extra range and so they can kite extremely well. Also Otto have an age 3 card that reduces all the church techs costs by 50%. That card instead of the falcs might have given you some tempo

Feels like you just got lazy at some point. Floating 2.5k wood, gathering all that wood for fusiliers and not sending them (especially when you don't even know what they do XD) and thus delaying your industrial, etc. It definitely made me incredibly nervous seeing 5 bombards and 5 fals, 10 abus and just 8 spahi as your sole frontline/anticav. Feels like that was the big throw. Having 20 frontline jans, or some cav archers or something just to give all that arty an extra volley or two. As it was he was able to get an amazing trade in that fight and it's what really won him the game IMO.
Even then, I think that fight was almost salvaged - you just A-moved the spahi too early (into the anticav) instead of walking properly in front of his cavalry and bodyblocking/slaughtering them with Spahi.
Him going industrial was a surprise, for sure, and he picked basically the perfect time to push (before you got more and buff spahi).
At the end of the game you had a surprising amount of time to recover, just feels like it was somewhat wasted. Just ceding the entire map to him with no scouting was probably a mistake - you had no clue what they were going to show up with, making a stable and getting out some expendable deli or something at some point (+ as others mention making cav archer) just to keep them honest would probably have been a good idea.

Ya definitely not the best play by me, one of the first times using the unique mosque techs for Ottoman. I thought I was quite far ahead, but those age 4 crows are insane. Really needed a few culvs

Could have easily won when you stabilised in the first industrial fight. You needed cav+cav archers. Maybe some more jannies too. I think you did right by keeping the spahi Alive and not committing them to raids but they needed more cav support. 10 spahis or so weren't enough against like 40chengdao and some manchus from his side.
Abus were a waste past a point. Culvs or falconets or just using the mosque tech and shipment cannons and going full cav+cav archer would have won you the game.

Ya, it turns out abus aren't so great with so many enemy units to target, that and needing a strong front line to give space.

I think you panicked when he attacked with the crows you needed to wait 30 sec for industrial before that first big fight let him kill ur other tc or get him to fire at units for a time then all your nazims and saphi become guard level instead of just veteran you win that easy then. Also try doing that same build but with the Otto cheap church tech card. Much easier.
