I think it is pretty sweet that you can spearfish all these species in Saskatchewan. I'd love to try this out sometime. Looks fun. Must be spring to get that clear water.
Awesome. I'm out in Colorado . Used to dive out east, now I'm heading out next year for northern pike. Was wondering whether to pole spear or gun spear. Nice vid. good job , mom.
Enjoyed that. Good to see you out with your mother. Fun episode similar to when Andrew Stanley (thewildnorth) is out with his father. The bi generational aspect adds to the story. Thanks for the video.
Never saw Walleye shot with a spear gun before!! Your sure that’s legal? Good shots on them for sure, never messed the meat up👍Your Mum is fairly handy with the Rod. Look like a healthy population of fish and very clear water, sandy bottom with some vegetation👍B Deacon Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦
Which lake is this? Just finished the video. As a saskatchewan man who just recently picked up freediving, I must say, I never realized how pretty some of our lakes are underwater. This is gorgeous, I never expected such a vibrant blue from freshwater in sk. Even more fascinating to see familiar fish being speared when you are used to watching ocean spearfishing. Very inspiring, can't wait for the snow to melt, hopefully I find someone to go with by then
Speargun is easier and can shoot further, I like the pole because it’s more challenging like shooting a bow. There are different classes for world records as well.

Yes late spring bring a lot of clear water usually in Sask 👍
@@tytanventures Maybe someday I'll have to do a little trip.
That is a cool way to spend the day. Enjoy all the family time you can. Great vid!
Thank you 🤟
Love the clarity of the water and that you both are having such a fun adventure together. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you 😊 and thanks for watching 👍

The gun is alot easier forsure, if you want a challenge use a pole 👍. I prefer the pole-spear!
That was cool! I've never seen walleye speared that way! Thanks for sharing!

This is like a dream, man, good for y’all ❤️

@@tytanventures Hey, what size speargun do you use for Saskatchewan fish?
I use a pole spear 8ft! And Tyler uses a 160cm ish
@@tytanventures how do they compare and why do you personally opt for the pole?

Are there restrictions on what species are permitted with a spear?
In Alberta were only allowed whites, burbot and perch
