But for Pep’s it was Messi being the decoy (False Striker) who comes to support the midfield by also drawing out the CBs inside to create space for the wingers but Messi being too good was also able to score and assist in that position. So practically the two systems are somehow the opposite of the other

It was like god saved us from another humiliation. Almeria just wasted many clear chances specially on the first half that would’ve made this a nightmare. One of the games to say we got luck that we almost don’t have in such games. Anyway we got three points and it’s crucial for the second place to secure additional income for the club and better place in the UCL. If this team continues like this we are not going anywhere.
