Thanks for being my entertainment today. I was going to make an extra large hot pad, had it ready to quilt and went to put my walking foot on and wanted to move a light when I missed my chair. Just call my Grace.😂

If I was cutting all that toile, I would just fold it back and forth and avoid the cut each time, and then rotary cut the ends all at once. It would probably waste a little bit save on the wrist 👍. I love your channel and always learn something. Thank you! 🧵🪡
Those came out great! The ruffler attachments are just based on the foot style, so most late 1800s to modern Singer and Pfaff machines take low-shank, except for some of the 60s-70s Singer machines that take slant shank feet. Of course there are a few other machines like Kenmores that can take high shank, but those are sort of rare these days. I have rufflers for all my machines. I use them a lot, along with the hemmer feet.

Love the bears in tutus! Note: anything you use to thread ribbon, elastic, drawstrings, etc. through an opening can be considered a bodkin. The metal one that has a pointed end can also be used to make holes in leather or similar material for stitching, buttonholes, or applying grommets or snaps. Those long flexible ones are now on my wishlist! ☺️

I used to have a ballerina Barbie… with the pancake tutu, white and white ballet shoes… a long long time ago…and I spent my days as a child imagining myself one. 🥰 I have a singer sewing machine, a quite modern one, bought it around 2/3 years ago. When I do a basting stitch… ( long stitch with the loosest tension) always gathers everything! 😅 ( was great for project dress a girl!). It’s great but I haven’t worked out HOW not to having gathering just in case I need it. 😅😅 Thank you for sharing, great job 🎉🎉. Love the bears 🐻.
The tool you used for the elastic is called a “Drawstring Threader” and the way you secured the elastic into it was correct. There is a RUclips video on it by Dritz.
I too am a huge nutcracker fan. This year our christmas theme is nutcracker. So, I've been thinking on how to quickly make some nutcracker ornaments for my little family.

The bears are so cute. My Janome has a gathering foot that I have yet to try. Good idea to try it to make tutus for my Granddaughters American Girl dolls.
First 5 minutes and I learned a ton! What's funny is that I don't know how to sew but.... I just converted my embroidery/sewing machine to just do sewing for me so that I can learn. Yay! Thank you for this great video.
I'd rather have basic instructions with a waist measurement to tulle needed formula then a set pattern. That way I can make a tutu for whatever/whomever I want.
