    The Mapogos left a big mark in the Sabi Sands. The game drive rangers like Cedric talk about the coalition a lot and even tells stories on them. Its a good thing they left offspring and their blood still lives on in many lions today. The Othawa Pride, Mhangeni, Kambula, Styx pride, all have Napogo daughters and their offspring carrying their legacy.

      @@ItIsYouAreNotYourif all the females are “the leaders” that isn’t a true hierarchy.
      And it makes perfect sense that the females would change loyalties once the male is not capable of living up to his role to protect and mark the territory of the pride. That doesn’t make them “the leaders”. Human females will leave a man for much the same reason.

      yep, female lions have much better life quality. They can change loyalties, abandon male lion(s) if they deem him not strong enough, they are never chased away from pride once they are grown up unlike males etc..
      male lions live violent life, are chased away to solitude where if they are lucky they band up with their bro, then if they are lucky they have short violent reign and once they age or are injured they are killed, wounded and/or abandoned by females left to die/struggle alone. Then they die.

      @Bruce Wayne I think there's some truths in the "DARTING" theory bcuz what I've hrd was the Rangers hated T & Kinky with a passion bcuz they was decimating the lions/lionesses population in the Sabi Sands & that was hurting the tourism business so they had to be taken out but I think you're reaching a lil too much & a lil delusional no offense bruh! Bcuz no way can T & Kinky take on 4 vs 2! That's just an unfair fight & we see it all the time that only 2 lions wud kill 1 lone lion in a slow agonizing, brutal, & painful death! But there's a video on here tho if u type in 4v1? It'd pop up with a video of a super HUMONGOUS lion gettin sneaked up on by 4 huge lions while he was hiding in the shade under a tree & when he tried to run? They cut him off & he had to fight out in the open in the blazing hot sun & thankfully the 4 lions got a lil tired & kinda overheated from the sun so they gave up the attack! I can't believe he survived a mauling of 4v1 lions just wow! Never ever hrd of seen/recorded in history💯💯💯 U shud check it out! U won't be disappointed my friend! That lion is a fuckin legend real talk! He was huge! But he shud have died but thank god he didn't! I can't watch lions being jumped & mauled to death bcuz it's too painful to watch!

    Even the human mouth heals very quickly. My friend got into a fight with a quite small Hispanic kid a long time ago. My friend being an average sized well built white dude. Naturally we thought this was going to play out much differently than it did. My friend got his ass thoroughly kicked! Anyways, the corner of his mouth got relocated about a half inch longer than the other side! Amazingly it healed in just a couple of days without any sign that it had happened! 30 years later I don’t think his pride fared quite as well as his mouth lol!

    The channel ‘Animal Kingdom’ put out a great video about the lion pride talked about in this video the Mopogo brothers. It’s called “These 6 lions killed almost 40% of all male lions in Africa”. I watched that just last night so I was excited to see what WATOP had to say about the same pride. And also thought wow what a coincidence! Lol! Anyways, it’s a very good video and gives the whole story so I recommend it to whoever likes this video!

    • @amouramarie
      @amouramarie 2 года назад +1

      "killed almost 40% of all male lions in Africa" WHAT?! That's awful. That means since those six lions were all closely related, they reduced the genetic diversity of male African lions by almost half? That seems... very not good.

    • @CarmenColleenCCC
      @CarmenColleenCCC 2 года назад +1

      @@amouramarie a lot of people in the comments said that the title was a little click baity because they didn’t kill 40% of lions in all of Africa but instead just that reserve, still a lot though.The number was around 110 lions they killed from 8 different prides.
