The "I cannot forgive the one who took everything from me" is the icing on the cake, as it was Ywach who was the direct reason Uryu's mother died. He was the reason why Ryuuken became so cold trying to shield Uryu from the truth. And his inaction and scheming was indirectly the reason why Soken fell to Mayuri. This is how you write a double agent without blatently having them lie. They say just enough truth for you to pull the wrong meaning from their words, while having them subtly spell out their goals to the audience
This was a spectacular adaptation. Uryu's surprise at Ichigo's Quincy heritage was a telling moment however small. It shows how Yhwach presumably only tells his followers what he wants them to know while leaving them in the dark about other elements of information. To be expected.
Really kind of strange he has a Vollstandig when his grandpa didn't like it, but I mean it's not like he was ever going to use Soken's preferred form again, after having experienced it once already. So it's like he's really become his own person as a Quincy now.

What I meant was, since Ishida's introduction during the Substitute Shinigami Arc, he and Ichigo never actually fought against each other. They had that competition (which ended with the appearance of a Gillian), but that doesn't really count. And after that, they didn't had any reason to fight. So, it was good to see these two finally fight against each other.

Jugram was the only one who genuinely knew what Uryu was all about from the minute he showed up. Yhwach was chill about the whole thing cuz he knew that even if Uryu was secretly plotting against him there's very little Uryu can actually do in terms of stopping him or delaying him.

That makes me wonder: we've seen a disembodied brain, a heart, a right arm and a left arm: I was already wondering where the legs are since we saw the Soul King had no limbs, and now I'm wondering where the organs other than the brain and heart are.

The Uryu vs Ichigo fight wasn't just a treat for the eyes but also delivered the emotional intensity that was definitely missing in the source material. Also, Uryu's commitment to blowing a hole through Ichigo was the most surprising thing

Both of them were able to fend off against Yhwach through Ukitake's sheer willpower. This gives a lot more weight to Ukitake's contribution in fighting Yhwach and makes his sacrifice much more impactful.

HOLY PEAK this was the best episode so far! Uryu got some much-needed love and was finally able to flex his true power a little bit, hopefully this is the start of a trend.
The manga did not hide it bro. We literally called told many times yhwach and jugram knows he is a double agent. Jugram told him thier plane to uryu's face lol. He litterly told him to give up on this double agent thing and join us lol. Anyone who says it was meant to be a secret clearly lacks braincells.
Aside from the amazing 12 minutes of new content being a fight between Uryu & Ichigo, his holy form, seeing the squad try to tight the royal guards, and Yhwach finally putting the soul king away forever. One thing people are overlooking, is Jugram constantly stalking Uryu. The way they have been portraying how untrusting Jugram is of Uryu in the anime, is perfectly well done. Even from the moment that he first encountered Uryu in the rain. Its not as prominent as it was in the manga because as you’ve stated, it was almost every second he always suspected him of being dishonest. But with the anime, it’s like he’s reading how literal he is. Whether it’s in his body language, words or his actions against his former crew, especially Ichigo. I think the route they’re taking with this, is so much better than how it was in the manga
This episode blew my mind, I was expecting added scenes but to have an actual all out fight between ichigo and ishida with ishida using his voldstadding, was crazy.
Ichigo wasn’t trying to hurt Ishida in this battle; he was holding back until the end. He held back far more than Ishida, even though Ishida could have used his Schrift from the beginning. Ishida didn’t try to kill Ichigo, which is why Haschwalth reacted differently compared to the others who witnessed the battle. Neither of them went all out-Ishida just wanted to take Ichigo out of the fight, not kill him. That was his conviction, and he held back only as much as was needed. But Ichigo wasn’t even willing to hurt Ishida in any way; he literally didn’t attack and that's the smallest getsuga jujisho we've seen so far, unlike ishida ichigo held back completely. Ichigo was probably using about 30% and below of his capabilities. The Animation was insanely awesome, beating my expectations.

8:20 Lille never took the shot, it was Uryu. You can see the arrow coming from behind Lille on the top left panel. Uryu knew how lethal Lille was ,so he decided to fire himself to save Ichigo.

With all those added context, it's pretty hard to not understand the scene.
Ichigo being conflicted made him hold back during this fight, but ishida's glow up is insane, he's literally as strong as base yhwach in his volstandig
I really wish there was more of the face to face fighting that happened at the start of the Uryu vs Ichigo fight. It was really cool, especially with the camera angles.
Ishida has genuinely been given so much more development in the TYBW anime compared to the manga by far. Like it's honestly not even close. That Ichigo vs Uryuu was fucking amazing, maybe better than even Ichigo vs Yhwach Round 1 back in Part 1 imho. ❤🔥
I'm not sure if Yhwach's line about the Soul Kings right arm being "ripped off" was in the episode, but if it wasn't I wish it was because it's not only cool, but a really important line I think. Apart from that, this episode was insane. I like how Orihime was so ready to throw hands.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is the gift that keeps on giving. Uryu is my favourite character and I am so happy that he has a proper role in the final arc. Ichigo's and Uryu's extended fight and the reveal of Uryu's Holy Form was fantastic. It's not every day I see a clash between friends and seeing Chad, Orihime and Ganju bravely fight the Schutzstaffel is great as well. The Thousand-Year Blood War anime adaptation gets better as it goes on!
A little correction, in the manga it was Uryu who shot the last arrow at Ichigo when he was falling. Lillie only aimed and intended to shoot, but Uryu shot the arrow first. I believe so because since when Lillie shots arrows? He pierces things without shooting anything, I dont think he would hold back suddenly and shoot regular arrows against Ichigo Kurosaki of all people.

I actually LOVE the fact that Uryu won, so many "rival" fights where only one is actually trying to kill the other wring hollow because it establishes just how out of their league they are against the protagonist like the final Naruto Vs Sasuke fight or any Goku vs Vegeta But this, it means Uryu CAN stand with Ichigo as an equal in power and he can't half ass a fight between them And his Vollstandig is so cool but I wonder why he still doesn't have a halo? And his wording is also neat as most of his exact words don't actually confirm his loyalty to Yhwach and can be read as foreshadowing for his betrayal of him giving the episode name a double meaning
The only reason Uryu even won is because Ichigo was hesitating, not because Uryu was stronger. There are multiple moments where Ichigo could have finished Uryu off but didn't.
I still am amazed by the team work, orihime, chad, and ganju displayed against a serious ass threat. Like I was not expecting those 3 to step up in any capacity, I honestly gasped when orihime didn't hesitate to block the onslaught on ganju, I loved seeing her take action and her shield not break at all or crack, I jumped when chad threw a punch after she shielded. im still in aww about it all. Chad was sickening, loved it, and go ganju every time. they still lost but the fact they actually stepped up and took action on their own even thou they've been side characters the whole series was refreshing to see and something these three characters very much needed. I need to see orihime and chad really hit em thou but sadly I know that shit aint happening lmfao

Even after defeating an 80% copied Yhwach, he still decided to steal the old mans bankai instead. 1000 years ago yhwach was bleeding heavily defeated and according to him it was one sided, when ichigo faced Yhwach it was abit of a back and forth and his blute resisted ichigo nevertheless he lost. About the power ups, nothing suggests Yhwach was weaker 1000 years ago so no.

Ichibei was also the one to go see Yhwach 1000 years ago further cementing that out of everyone in the 0 division only he surpassed him atleast before the Almighty. Bankai yamamoto being stronger than her is also from the fact that he fought and defeated Yhwach already.

I'm disappointed by Uryuu... completely lacking in originality, copying Senbonzakura is a middle finger towards Shinigami... wait a minute, that's kinda in character! But joking aside, this was amazing! But still, it was like freaking Quincy Senbonzakura. Also I always liked Uryuu and he never really got to shine other than a few earlier fights. So seeing him fighting Senjumaru and this amazing fight. LET'S GOOOO!!! It was satisfying! Also bonus Aizen ASMR. 🔥
Considering Uryu's schrift allows him to, among other things, swap places with anything, it makes sense that his vollstandig would give him plenty of flying objects with which he can swap places.
Funny how everyone’s Quincy forms is based on their respective gimmicks, yet Uryuu’s is simply arrow themed, maybe it’s connected to Uryuu still valuing the traditional ways his grandfather raised him by, even if he’s going against it by taking on said form.
It also complements his schrift very well; giving him hundreds of flying arrows means that he can use his schrift to swap places with any of the arrows.
Uryu eyes were frightful on his last arrow + we know he could have aimed somewhere in Ichigo's chest like he did with Senjumaru Just some little details
It's crazy to think what Uryu could do with his new volstandig in conjunction with his schrift. Can he swap places with his little Gundam bits? Can he switch an opponent with a bit? Also, if he used his schrift he could have theoretically switched places with ichigo when pinned or get in the way of Getsuga then use schrift to swap places or get hit by it and use schrift to swap damage. Uryu can do some dirty things with his ability.

Also, I love how its confirmed that Ukitake is indirectly fighting against Yhwach through Mimihagi. Both of them were able to fend off against Yhwach through Ukitake's sheer willpower. This gives a lot more weight to Ukitake's contribution in fighting Yhwach and makes his sacrifice much more impactful.

Aside from the amazing 12 minutes of new content being a fight between Uryu & Ichigo, his holy form, seeing the squad try to tight the royal guards, and Yhwach finally putting the soul king away forever. One thing people are overlooking, is Jugram constantly stalking Uryu. The way they have been portraying how untrusting Jugram is of Uryu in the anime, is perfectly well done. Even from the moment that he first encountered Uryu in the rain. Its not as prominent as it was in the manga because as you’ve stated, it was almost every second he always suspected him of being dishonest. But with the anime, it’s like he’s reading how literal he is. Whether it’s in his body language, words or his actions against his former crew, especially Ichigo. I think the route they’re taking with this, is so much better than how it was in the manga

Ichigo wasn’t trying to hurt Ishida in this battle; he was holding back until the end. He held back far more than Ishida, even though Ishida could have used his Schrift from the beginning. Ishida didn’t try to kill Ichigo, which is why Haschwalth reacted differently compared to the others who witnessed the battle. Neither of them went all out-Ishida just wanted to take Ichigo out of the fight, not kill him. That was his conviction, and he held back only as much as was needed. But Ichigo wasn’t even willing to hurt Ishida in any way; he literally didn’t attack and that's the smallest getsuga jujisho we've seen so far, unlike ishida ichigo held back completely. Ichigo was probably using about 30% and below of his capabilities. The Animation was insanely awesome, beating my expectations.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is the gift that keeps on giving. Uryu is my favourite character and I am so happy that he has a proper role in the final arc. Ichigo's and Uryu's extended fight and the reveal of Uryu's Holy Form was fantastic. It's not every day I see a clash between friends and seeing Chad, Orihime and Ganju bravely fight the Schutzstaffel is great as well. The Thousand-Year Blood War anime adaptation gets better as it goes on!
A little correction, in the manga it was Uryu who shot the last arrow at Ichigo when he was falling. Lillie only aimed and intended to shoot, but Uryu shot the arrow first. I believe so because since when Lillie shots arrows? He pierces things without shooting anything, I dont think he would hold back suddenly and shoot regular arrows against Ichigo Kurosaki of all people.

I actually LOVE the fact that Uryu won, so many "rival" fights where only one is actually trying to kill the other wring hollow because it establishes just how out of their league they are against the protagonist like the final Naruto Vs Sasuke fight or any Goku vs Vegeta
But this, it means Uryu CAN stand with Ichigo as an equal in power and he can't half ass a fight between them
And his Vollstandig is so cool but I wonder why he still doesn't have a halo?
And his wording is also neat as most of his exact words don't actually confirm his loyalty to Yhwach and can be read as foreshadowing for his betrayal of him giving the episode name a double meaning

The only reason Uryu even won is because Ichigo was hesitating, not because Uryu was stronger.
There are multiple moments where Ichigo could have finished Uryu off but didn't.

I still am amazed by the team work, orihime, chad, and ganju displayed against a serious ass threat. Like I was not expecting those 3 to step up in any capacity, I honestly gasped when orihime didn't hesitate to block the onslaught on ganju, I loved seeing her take action and her shield not break at all or crack, I jumped when chad threw a punch after she shielded. im still in aww about it all. Chad was sickening, loved it, and go ganju every time. they still lost but the fact they actually stepped up and took action on their own even thou they've been side characters the whole series was refreshing to see and something these three characters very much needed. I need to see orihime and chad really hit em thou but sadly I know that shit aint happening lmfao

@@johanmelis12 Yhwach has never destroyed Yamamoto, he got swiftly defeated the first time and had to use a doble to avoid facing off a 1 arm yamamoto the 2nd time. Even after defeating an 80% copied Yhwach, he still decided to steal the old mans bankai instead.
1000 years ago yhwach was bleeding heavily defeated and according to him it was one sided, when ichigo faced Yhwach it was abit of a back and forth and his blute resisted ichigo nevertheless he lost.
About the power ups, nothing suggests Yhwach was weaker 1000 years ago so no.

Only ichibei was strong enough to face him and even he was damaged, besides Jugram already used the balance to destroy hikifunes womb tree stating that they were lucky not to face Yhwach which is true.
Ichibei was also the one to go see Yhwach 1000 years ago further cementing that out of everyone in the 0 division only he surpassed him atleast before the Almighty.
Bankai yamamoto being stronger than her is also from the fact that he fought and defeated Yhwach already.

I'm disappointed by Uryuu... completely lacking in originality, copying Senbonzakura is a middle finger towards Shinigami... wait a minute, that's kinda in character!
But joking aside, this was amazing! But still, it was like freaking Quincy Senbonzakura. Also I always liked Uryuu and he never really got to shine other than a few earlier fights. So seeing him fighting Senjumaru and this amazing fight. LET'S GOOOO!!! It was satisfying!

Considering Uryu's schrift allows him to, among other things, swap places with anything, it makes sense that his vollstandig would give him plenty of flying objects with which he can swap places.
Funny how everyone’s Quincy forms is based on their respective gimmicks, yet Uryuu’s is simply arrow themed, maybe it’s connected to Uryuu still valuing the traditional ways his grandfather raised him by, even if he’s going against it by taking on said form.
Notice that uryu's vollstandig form doesn't have a floating disk on top of his head.

Uryu eyes were frightful on his last arrow + we know he could have aimed somewhere in Ichigo's chest like he did with Senjumaru
Just some little details
It's crazy to think what Uryu could do with his new volstandig in conjunction with his schrift. Can he swap places with his little Gundam bits? Can he switch an opponent with a bit?
Also, if he used his schrift he could have theoretically switched places with ichigo when pinned or get in the way of Getsuga then use schrift to swap places or get hit by it and use schrift to swap damage. Uryu can do some dirty things with his ability.
