Great reports, Rocky! I found them through a post on the Combat Patrol Facebook page. I'm a another fan of the rules, so thanks for helping spread the word about this great set! One minor terminology mistake to point out, the squad is broken into two fire teams (as you showed) which are commanded by the Squad Leader and Assistant Squad Leader. Not the Platoon Leader and Assistant Platoon leader as you said. The Platoon HQ is a whole other unit which you weren't using in your demo. Otherwise, super video!

Thanks for the review! One question: Why do you actually need multiple action decks besides convince?

Thank you. You really don't need multiple ones. Its just a convenience thing.

my big question is, the vids i have watched for both this and Chain of Command both used 15mm.. while i can come up with such , i want to play with my Bolt Action figures and vehicles at 28mm.. what issues, like range and movement are effected based on scale?

Kodiax56 no issues at all due to the fact it is all random and no scale for this game is ever been mentioned in the rulebook. We used 15mm WWII miniatures and it really didn't change anything.

ok im confused.. short med long ranges, expressed in inches would be the same?

Each weapon has its own long med, and short range profile. And everything is done in inches

to quote the CoC vid i watched.. a 4x6 table equals 4 football fields.. using 15mm.. im having prob seeing as how that comparison would also be true in 28mm for same table size?

I see well this game is typically recommended for larger than a 4x6, but 4x6 being the standard table size the game would work for any scale based on it being just a game. The realism is truly up to you. If you don't like the 28mm then going with 15mm for table scale it's totally up to you. It's just a game in the end. I play bolt action on a 8x6 table because I think a 4x6 is too small for that game. Also this is a platoon level game just like bolt action
