This game was undeniably great. Tekken 4 (which came after) was a bit of a black sheep (and had an unfortunate God-Tier Jin in the days before balance patches), but is way underrated IMO, and definitely made to the same standard of quality. After that it seemed like they kinda stopped giving a shit: the writing got crappy, the characters got flattened, and any efforts to create a distinct atmosphere or aesthetic seemed to dry up. Oh well, we always have our memories.

Kunimitsu is of the strongest tekken fighters. In tekken 2 it was too difficult to defeat her. I know her combos are rather simple attacks but there are more in combination of its precision and accuracy to land the attack on her opponents. Totally I admire the one who designed her. She needs to come back in Tekken instead of those random characters.

She tried to steal a special pendant from Michelle in Tekken 1, was kicked out of the clan by Yoshimitsu, then tried to steal Yoshimitsu's sword in Tekken 2. I thought she'd fallen in battle to Yoshimitsu, but apparently it's never really been confirmed what happened to her after Tekken 2. If that's the case, they could bring her back in Tekken 7, or they could say she had a daughter who uses her name and fighting style and go with that.
@@melvinshine9841 I doubt Yoshimitsu was planned to have killed her at any point, since Ogre has a few of her moves, and while that could be excused as some random Majin Party member being killed by Ogre, that's not mentioned in Yoshimitsu's story in Tekken 3. Plus, Tag 2's intro has her doing an audible gasp when seeing True Ogre, it's possible that's because of his attack on her, and that brought back bad memories, although also very possible she's just doing a natural reaction at seeing a monster like that suddenly invading the tournament lol. But yeah, like you said, nothing ever was confirmed, the best you could say is that she got killed by Ogre back in Tekken 3, when that was the plan for every character who Ogre stole moves from, but then we have Ogre who has a Mishima 1,1,2, and he couldn't have killed Kazuya, though you can excuse that and say he got from a random Tekken Force member, but then Anna was added as a costume for Nina in the arcade version, and then got her own moveset in the console version, both pretty much saying she's still alive despite Ogre having her moves, so as early as Tekken 3 itself, it was dubious if having someone's move meant that Ogre killed them, and now it's very unlikely he killed anyone outside of King I since Tekken 4 and 5 brought back characters he had supposedly killed too, so yeah, Kunimitsu could easily come back. Although, I'll say that we can have her moveset, but not the original Kunimitsu, and she's replaced by someone else using the mask, like King II, simply because Tekken avoids women that old like the plague, silly, but it's there lol.
