His father, a guitarist and music producer, encouraged him to study and inspired by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, he developed his musical talent during his young life. Gabriel, in addition to his long apprenticeship, counts on God's protection.
I am a huge fan of Gabriel Henrique. I have been a fan for about 1 year and 4 or 5 months now. I'm not sure if he actually is self taught. If he really is self taught, that would make him unfreaking unbelievable human being ever!! There is a lot of speculation about him, his talent, and personal his life. Personally, I feel like he definitely deserves to be world wide recognized for his unbelievable talent and vocal skills, and if ever gets that opportunity, I guarantee he will easily be famous like Michael Jackson and maybe more. And, yes, I agree that Gabriel, Mariah AND Alicia Keys should collaborate together for a song titled, "Love With Open Arms." That song will talk about ending discrimination and racism, and basically saying that I don't care who you are or where you are from, "I Love you with open arms." Anyway, I'm currently trying to contact him and hopefully find wherever he is in Brazil, and try to convince him to come to the United States to a national TV show (Live! With Kelly and Ryan) and hopefully meet Kelly, Ryan, Mariah, Alicia, and a very awesome vocal coach, Mrs. Cheryl Porter. At the show, I'm pushing for performances of at least 3 songs, but that may not be possible due to amount of available time. So anyway, that's what I'm trying to do right now.
