    - Chael took a rest that entire round 5 instead of trying to finish Silva
    - Overeem continued to strike Stipe instead of trying to submit him
    - Carwin also targeted Brock's body during that GnP instead of just trying to punch through his defense
Side Note: Mir submitting Big Nog should have been included. Frank was already out, and Nog could have continued to punch him instead of going for a submission.

Stipe's chin is too solid. Overeem didn't have him hurt badly at all according to Stipe, which when I look at how intelligently he defended himself from that guillotine I'm very inclined to believe. Chael against Silva is an interesting one because Chael's aggression actually neutralized Silva's own game. Had he tried to coast it, he might have gotten Usman'd. Carwin VS Brock, yup, he'd have won that if he was more versatile. Sad thing is, Carwin worked like two jobs and often only trained once or twice a week. It was pure lack of experience and skill from a lack of training that cost him that fight and many others. He was one of the most naturally gifted UFC fighters ever.

Dude. Lesnar won because the ref apparently thought curling into he fetal position was defending yourself and carwin punched himself out.
Also carwin was 38 and not a full time fighter as he also worked as a civil engineer.
The only thing that allowed Lesnar to win was the ref letting Lesnar take more punishment in that fight than Lesnar took in both of his losses to Overeem and Velasquez combined.

@Eight Loco again dudem Brock took more damage in this fight than he took in his next two fights to get a stoppage. Wouldn't surprise me to find out the UFC paid the ref to delay the stoppage I mean they literally paid USADA to allow Brock to skip testing and look how that ended up.

Glover did have that one in the bag. Had it gone to judges decision he would have likely retained his title in a 48-47 decision. But man going for that guillotine after he had Jiri rocked so badly was a GENERATIONAL choke (no pun intended) on his part. Grappler's instinct gone wrong.

@@hakr4751 I'd absolutely agree about Gaethje. Got him out of there in less than a round. As for Poirier, he did last longer than Chandler and also dropped Do Bronx in the first. But he also spent a majority of the 2nd in defensive position and got subbed pretty early in the 3rd. Depends on how you look at it, I suppose

These refs are so insane lol. Like there’s moments when you think a fight is absolutely over, but they let it keep going and every now and then magic happens. It’s insane because it proves the refs are watching closely for signs of consciousness but it’s such a fine line between the guys actually being out cold or still being in the fight. Kongo vs barry was a perfect example of that.
