Stipe's chin is too solid. Overeem didn't have him hurt badly at all according to Stipe, which when I look at how intelligently he defended himself from that guillotine I'm very inclined to believe. Chael against Silva is an interesting one because Chael's aggression actually neutralized Silva's own game. Had he tried to coast it, he might have gotten Usman'd. Carwin VS Brock, yup, he'd have won that if he was more versatile. Sad thing is, Carwin worked like two jobs and often only trained once or twice a week. It was pure lack of experience and skill from a lack of training that cost him that fight and many others. He was one of the most naturally gifted UFC fighters ever.

Also carwin was 38 and not a full time fighter as he also worked as a civil engineer. The only thing that allowed Lesnar to win was the ref letting Lesnar take more punishment in that fight than Lesnar took in both of his losses to Overeem and Velasquez combined.

These refs are so insane lol. Like there’s moments when you think a fight is absolutely over, but they let it keep going and every now and then magic happens. It’s insane because it proves the refs are watching closely for signs of consciousness but it’s such a fine line between the guys actually being out cold or still being in the fight. Kongo vs barry was a perfect example of that.
That left hook that Olivera sat Chandler down with has to be the most picture perfect hook ever thrown in an octagon. Just beautiful. Dude has some of the most crisp, precision striking in the UFC.
Several of these could have been stopped before the reversal and would have been the right call. But they went the way they went and we got some amazing comebacks.
