Fidel Fourneyron, trombone player, is the musical architect of Que Vola ? We follow him in Havana, reminiscing over the past of old tired houses that contrast with the vitality of a present that Cubans, despite difficulties, try to make joyful. He talks about his initiation to bata drums with Adonis, about the fascination for the universe of rhythms that turned upside down his way of seeing, feeling, and creating music. The poetry of men and deities, of everyday life and the sacred is what he tried and etch with Que Vola's music.
