I mean Hannah isn’t as shy as everyone thinks she is. She is able to dance on stage for hundreds of people. Maybe vocally she is shy but she dance shows something else.💞🌸

they want to please her and they're scared of her disapproval. But if Abby talks to them in conversation they don't cry and run away. I mean Paige and all that would go up and hug her.

You can tell Hannah rehearsed what she said and tbh I’m proud it’s so hard to stand up to people like Abby but she’s done it despite of her anxiety
This made me tear up. But for some reason Abby was still making a big deal about her speaking way later in the season?? I feel like the producers are doing with Hannah speaking for herself what they did with Brooke smiling.

Dianaa Rodriguez they told brooke to never smile while at pyramid to try and make her come off as a broody teenager who hated everything and if she did smile during pyramid they would find the one clip to play that wouldnt have her smiling or looking like she hated life

I feel like it’s nasty what Abby does but her mum protects her to much and acts like she’s 5 I understand she’s quiet but the more she protects her she won’t speak for herself
Actually that's not true. The more people yell at her and FORCE her to speak the more reclusive she'll become. I used to be just like her. Super shy and super quiet. But it was the people who actually listened to me calmly and pushed me to speak up in a soft manner that actually got me to come out of my shell. Hostile environments only make people quieter.
It’s anxiety. I was diagnosed with it a few years ago. People with anxiety are less likely to speak for themselves if people yell and ridicule them all the time.

Honestly I feel so bad for Hannah and I’m honestly in the same boat. I’m scared of everyone and scared to talk to teachers especially teachers like Abbie. And when they would ask me a question in school on something I wouldn’t remember the answer or question then I would feel bad and start crying. So I totally feel for her
Riley DiLoretta I agree! I am super shy especially at school. And being forced to present projects puts me farther into my shell. People need to understand that some people aren’t made to do this type of thing.

@@heavenh5837 no she is not. She just wants what's best for those kids. She seems so mean on the show but she is not like that. You should watch some of her interviews she is so nice. She just doesn't like to repeat herself and she mostly acts mean just because the cameras are on. She even said it herself that she loves those kids as if they were her own and that's why she is so hard on them because she wants them to succeed in life.

Abby acts like getting upset is an absolutely absurd thing but when she gets upset, people should be there for her every moment. It’s honestly sick.
She definitely is a hypocrite. It's okay for her but not anyone else to have a bad day. Abby sure does take advantage of her disability.Always screaming for the damn POLICE every chance she gets. She has them on SPEED DIAL. I never feel more sorry for the police than now. Abby is a handful.

I am so proud of Hannah and what she accomplished this season. Who cares about her placements (honestly so many dances placed strangely this season I stoped even caring), she grew and improved so much in her confidence, technique, and she did so much outside of her comfort zone. She is awesome!

Hannah reminds me of myself- I'm a professional pianist and have very little issue performing in front of thousands of people. However, if I'm asked a question by a superior, especially in a group setting, I completely blank out of nervousness. It's really really tough dealing with social anxiety and she should be proud for even being there.
I am glad Hannah spoke up and stood up for herself. She is a wonderful pressure, she is just so shy and no one understands that. I love Hannah though, she is so different from the other girls personality wise and look wise, and she has been my favorite from the beginning ❤️

as someone with bad anxiety, i feel for hannah. yes, she needs to learn to speak up, but there’s nothing more humiliating and anxiety inducing than when someone is constantly pointing out and making fun of you for not being able to do what seems like a simple task. for anyone who has a friend or family member who depends on you to help them with speaking to strangers or doing tasks, please do not EVER behave like abby. you may think you’re helping by telling them that they’re being ridiculous and just need to “speak up,” but in reality you’re just making them feel stupid and anxious about asking for your help.

It isn't always easy when you are put on the spot without being prepaird to answer. You freeze sometimes. It is hard to answer a question even if it is one if you are extremely shy or have anxiety.

I feel like Mackenzie was the quietest person like melissa always spoke for Mackenzie. And Mackenzie wouldn’t talk for herself like with Hannah she is always shy a lot. Ann talks for Hannah and she doesn’t let Hannah for herself. But when Hannah finally said a word I’m like “omg who was that talking?” I’m happy Hannah talked for herself and her mom didn’t say a word.😂😂😂😂
i don’t think this is just shyness. this is probably anxiety. i used to be the exact same way. as i got older, i got better at dealing with my anxiety and now i’m A LOT less shy compared to when i was in middle school. for hannah, it’s very possible that she has an anxiety disorder. in most situations for people with anxiety, you can’t just speak up or stop being nervous. speaking from experience, it’s REALLY hard to be confident and talk out loud in front of people when you have anxiety.
I have a son with Anxiety and he is very much like Hannah. To be totally honest I dont think that environment is right for her as her anxiety will make her sick if Abby yells at her. I think that her mother has been speaking for her for a long time and Hannah needs to learn to speak for herself. I felt sooo proud of her right at the end when she spoke up for herself. Anxiety is sooo hard to live with and its done a lot of damage to my son to the point he now has severe social anxiety and can't even leave the house. I hope that Hannah doesn't end up like him
ugh i can feel the anxiety through my screen. i hope abby and the mothers acknowledge Hannah’s social anxiety. i mean like stacey is a physiologist. it’s pretty clear it’s more than just being shy.
