One of my cats who wasn't even two and a half years old just had to be put down due to feline coronavirus and it felt like I lost a part of myself in the process. Then I watched this and found myself crying tears of laughter instead of sadness. That's just how awesome you guys are. This probably sounds weird coming from a random internet guy, but thanks for cheering me up.
Wow I never thought I'd be watching Best Friends and hear Mr. Gimmick be mentioned. That game was so far ahead of its time that even the present can't touch it!
Personally I kind of liked it, but I would have preferred if it hadn't been in the Looney Tunes universe. Had they just made their super hero show with animals I think it would have been much better.
Blastotron This is true, they just connected it with the Looney Toons to have something people would recognize. Which is a shame, if they did as you said it would have been a completely original show.. God knows we need more of those.
Holy hell. I haven't played Duck Tales since the original. I haven't seen the cartoon since I was a kid. But when that music started, I started singing along just like them and I REMEMBERED THE WORDS. Some shit sticks in your mind forever.
Even in the coconut trees in grenada, fighting off the grenadian death feet with falling coconuts to keep stolen pie, Woolie was STILL able to have duck tales.
with this, all i can think be that the guy who created astroboy was a huge fan of duck tales comics, and even sended christmas cards to the creator of ducktales, be so sweet
There was also a random paramedic who was capable of picking the hammer up. A completely unnamed character, whose only significance was that after Thor did his hero business, and was inevitably beat up and exhausted, the paramedic returned his hammer to him.
Might steal some pies Or tell some lies Woolie, wooo! Look out all you short haired ladies Woolie, wooo! Throwing all his salty johns it's Woolie, wooo! Always wondering when is mahvel Woolie, wooo! This is now Woolie's official theme. Spread the word -Written and Composed by Krysis Storm
The singing of the Ducktales theme was the HYPEST shit and I didn't even get to the gameplay yet...also I love that its now required that whenever I see the Wayforward logo I have to declare "Waaaayforwaaaaard!
Yup, their parents live in the duck projects. Where they constantly struggle with a quack addiction and go in and out of rehab, leaving their children to the care of their uncle.
Huey, Dewey abd Louie are the sons of Donalds sister Della. They were original sent to Donald for him to keep an eye on them, while their unamed father was in the hospital from injuries incurred when the boys pulled a prank on him involving firecrackers. Neither Della or the father were reffered to ever again after this. There was also another duck named Phooey, an imp who assumed an identical form to them, but wore purple. He was supposely the one who actually lit the firecrackers
The mad thinker's android "Awesome Andy" actually picked up Thor's hammer which is what led to him becoming the helpful office mascot in She-Hulk's comics.
From what little I can remember, the only cartoons I really watched when I was a kid were: the 90's Spider-Man animated series, Superman the animated series, Batman Beyond, Justice League Unlimited, Gargoyles, Ren and Stimpy, Pinky and The Brain and The 2000s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.
Dave Smith explained how to tell them apart: Red is the brightest hue, so that's Huey. Dew is water, so that's Dewy. That leaves Louie (and leaves are green).
Fun Fact: The Hulk also once lifted Thor's hammer. But he did through sheer strength and it broke his hand, but not before beating Thor in the face with it.
The punisher doesn't have to lift Mjolnir. He just has to find its family and threaten to kill them until it does what he wants. In the name of JUSTICE!
For some reason, I always thought of these guys as being around my age. But apparently, they're much younger. I grew up watching DuckTales in junior high and high school. Yet the first Disney toons these guys recall are Darkwing Duck and Goof Troop. Interesting...
I know right? I have bought every hardcover-collection of his comics. And I do not regret it. If there's something I don't like about them is that "a letter from home" isn't in either one of the Life and Times books. The reason probably is that the story is one of his latest products, but I still think that the end of the Life and times was a bit depressing. "a letter from home" ties up scrooges saga in such a good way. Along with "The Quest for Kalevala" it's my favorite Don Rosa story.
I totally agree with Woolie on Shadow Complex. It may not be the original or most innovative Metroidvania, but damn did it perfect the formula. Still arguably my favorite XBLA game to this day.
The guys singing Duck Tales theme song is fucking adorable
funny how quickly that lead to presumably an off screen Woolie tasering to get the focus back on starting the game XD
C'mon, Pat! You're older than I am and even i get the hype behind Duck Tales!
Woolie singing duck tales
Matt-WOOLIE FOR FUCK SAKE !!!!!
Damn, I need to start watching 90s Disney cartoons again.
Kojima and capcom presents

LMAO at woolie singing the intro
Yo! Duck Tails theme got me so hyped.
"When is a butler not amazing?"
Perhaps when you're the villain butler from Aristocats?
One of my cats who wasn't even two and a half years old just had to be put down due to feline coronavirus and it felt like I lost a part of myself in the process. Then I watched this and found myself crying tears of laughter instead of sadness. That's just how awesome you guys are. Imagine if Wayforward made a Tail Spin aerial combat game.
Twin sticks might actually fix that games problems
Now I am thinking about all those old Disney cartoons that were just awesome. Thank you guys, I really needed that.
7 years? Jesus Christ.
The fact that they got the actual voice actors is awesome!!!
PSA: I found this video by searching "pimp cane" on RUclips
Hearing them talk about how Loonatics Unleashed came out "like 10 years ago" and i look it up and now it's approaching it's 20 year anniversary. crazy
Remember when /v/ shat all over GameSpot's lame sidekick contest and voted Launchpad Mcquack as best sidekick?
Wow I never thought I'd be watching Best Friends and hear Mr. Gimmick be mentioned.
That game was so far ahead of its time that even the present can't touch it!
Gargoyles was Disney's Avatar at the time. It was the best.
kira64 I thought it was Disney's Batman.
shinobody Huh, never thought of it that way. That too.
+shinburner but better than Batman
those boss animations looked like the best animations i have ever seen in a game
I watched this with "Tail Spin" "Goof Troop" and my brothers favorite "Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers" anyone remember these shows?
Oooh, such nostalgia
I remember all of those. Loved Eek the Cat, such a underrated cartoon that very few people seem to remember.
I personally really liked Loonatics Unleashed.
Personally I kind of liked it, but I would have preferred if it hadn't been in the Looney Tunes universe. Had they just made their super hero show with animals I think it would have been much better.
Blastotron
This is true, they just connected it with the Looney Toons to have something people would recognize. Which is a shame, if they did as you said it would have been a completely original show.. God knows we need more of those.
That Ducktales theme. That's all I needed. Thank you, Woolie.
You can see how bad Liam really is at some of these old games with the timely edits.
Holy hell. I haven't played Duck Tales since the original. I haven't seen the cartoon since I was a kid. But when that music started, I started singing along just like them and I REMEMBERED THE WORDS. Some shit sticks in your mind forever.
Referencing the movie Drive AND it's soundtrack..
This is why I love you guys.
Woolie has the voice of an angel. A Shame Angel but the voice is still amazing.
spiderman 2099 (miguel ohara) can lift thor's hammer.
I die every time Matt says "Jesus, Joel!" love it
There was also a random paramedic who was capable of picking the hammer up. A completely unnamed character, whose only significance was that after Thor did his hero business, and was inevitably beat up and exhausted, the paramedic returned his hammer to him.
the teenage trio is quack pack, and the girl duck was the granddaughter or niece of scrooge's maid/nanny.
I've been waiting for the money dive. Putting it in the end was an awesome ending.
I'm loving the "Jesus Joel" line add to character select on the next brawl
hearing Woolie trying to sing the theme song was so worth it.
Might steal some pies
Or tell some lies
Woolie, wooo!
Look out all you short haired ladies
Woolie, wooo!
Throwing all his salty johns it's
Woolie, wooo!
Always wondering when is mahvel
Woolie, wooo!
This is now Woolie's official theme. Spread the word

Man I miss all those great Disney shows back then; Gargoyles, Bonkers, Doug, Pepper Ann, Hercules, Dark Wing Duck , Duck Tales. The list goes on.
The singing of the Ducktales theme was the HYPEST shit and I didn't even get to the gameplay yet...also I love that its now required that whenever I see the Wayforward logo I have to declare "Waaaayforwaaaaard!
Woolie's tones are the most dulcet of all.
You know it's hype when they start singing.
Walter the Angel of Death... Bringing back memories here, Woolie !
Matt: "The genesis one, and then the super nintendo one, the better one", thank you for further reminding me why I'm subscribed to your channel.
Darkwing Duck, Groof Troop, DuckTales, Chip and Dale Rescue Ranger, Talespin. These are the staples of "Childhood".
this episode really digs deep in the childhood
Matt, the man who once insultingly called pat and everyone who played Skyrim; a nerd; now singing the theme song of ducktales remastered.
This just reminded me how great DuckTales actually was. I wish I still had my Gizmoduck figure I got out of a box of cereal as a kid.
The singing killed me. This is brilliant.
Good to see some Don Rosa love. The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck is still one of my favorite comics ever.
I love hearing Matt and pat's voice in the morning
Yup, their parents live in the duck projects. Where they constantly struggle with a quack addiction and go in and out of rehab, leaving their children to the care of their uncle.
Late 80's into the 90's were a great time for animation.
Lol I love Liam kinda just sing-talking through the theme
It's nice hearing Liam, usually he's drowned out by the three trio of loudmouths lol.
Oh yeah DuckTales takes me back. I love that I'm not the only one who knows the lyrics to the theme song.
We knew that if they had to choose one of the nephews, Woolie would just pick the green one.
AND THIS IS WHERE WOOLIE LEAKED HIS HATE FOR BIKER MICE, OH THE REGRETS OF HIS DECISION TO PERFORM SUCH ACTION THIS DAY.
Beta Ray Bill wielded Thor's hammer with such shine that Odin eventually just gave him his own.
The Duck Tales movie is one of the best Disney movies ever
Woolie has the voice of an angel.
The hypest game to come out all year.
This is truly the hypest gameplay on RUclips
I have a 1990s Ducktales annual somewhere in my house. That's how fucking hype this show was. It was THE BEST.
Don Rosa is one of the best artists out there.
Sadly he retired, I'd love to see way more from him.
Damn it Woolie. I have had the Ducktales Theme song stuck in my head all day. :P
Holy shit. The minute I heard the intro theme to the game, nostalgia hit me. Childhood relived!
"Punished Duck" sounds like some obscure British entree.
I really excited for Shantae coming out later this year. The people who made this and and the animator of Skullgirls are working on it.
O and I loved swat kats too, so happy wen u guys brought that up
The mad thinker's android "Awesome Andy" actually picked up Thor's hammer which is what led to him becoming the helpful office mascot in She-Hulk's comics.
I just heard the Super best friends sing the Duck Tales theme. My life is complete. XD
I love rewatching the beginning and I always end up thinking "I wish Pat had a childhood so he could sing with them"
I like how this is longer than a regular episode but not as flabby as a full let's play.
We really need a video of Woolie just singing the Ducktales theme song.
"Pat doesn't know what Ducktales is." - Matt
Yet another notion of the lack of a childhood Pat should've had.
I like how Scrooge just, on a fucking whim, decides to take on an alien empire with naught but his cane.
And wins.
Decisively.
Dave Smith explained how to tell them apart: Red is the brightest hue, so that's Huey. Dew is water, so that's Dewy. That leaves Louie (and leaves are green).
woolie's nostalgia karaoke needs to be a thing
I'm re watching the start of this purely to listen to Woolie's singing
The cartoon Woolie is talking about is indeed quackpack
Fun Fact: The Hulk also once lifted Thor's hammer. But he did through sheer strength and it broke his hand, but not before beating Thor in the face with it.
The punisher doesn't have to lift Mjolnir. He just has to find its family and threaten to kill them until it does what he wants. In the name of JUSTICE!
Huey Dewey and Louie's family in the Duck Projects are like the Boon-ducks
I know this isn't a word normally associated with these guys, but honestly? It was goddamn adorable to watch how excited everyone was.
For some reason, I always thought of these guys as being around my age. But apparently, they're much younger. I grew up watching DuckTales in junior high and high school. Yet the first Disney toons these guys recall are Darkwing Duck and Goof Troop. Interesting...
Plague of Gripes is going to love this.
Best title screen sequence ever.
singing intro,...cutest thing ever
I know right? I have bought every hardcover-collection of his comics. And I do not regret it. If there's something I don't like about them is that "a letter from home" isn't in either one of the Life and Times books.
The reason probably is that the story is one of his latest products, but I still think that the end of the Life and times was a bit depressing. "a letter from home" ties up scrooges saga in such a good way. Along with "The Quest for Kalevala" it's my favorite Don Rosa story.
The 'Baz would approve, seeing he was watching Thunder God TV at home. The 'Baz Jr. watching Duck Tales, all the time! So Hype!
Oh god the singing at the start of the episode. You big adorable nerds
Massive points for referencing Mr. Gimmick.
Woolie is my favorite best friend now... watches hellsing and sings against matt and liams wishes
Scrooge´s vault would be the ultimate heist for the Payday crew.
So many good memories resurfacing. Nostalgia is overwhelming. CarbohydroM's remix of the moon theme made it a
I'd like to say that I really enjoyed the jokes in this video.
However, after hearing Woolie's singing, my ears exploded.
I totally agree with Woolie on Shadow Complex. It may not be the original or most innovative Metroidvania, but damn did it perfect the formula. Still arguably my favorite XBLA game to this day.
When Scrooge is in the deal, you CAN JUST DO a space expedition.
