Reminiscing when this song came out, I was brought to reality, and left the most toxic person I’d ever come into contact with. I was in deep, and it was painful, but absolutely necessary and I’m all the thankful I set the precedent for myself than, cause I’ve gained a trust in myself, a love and respect that can’t be beat. It still blows me away how out of touch people can be with their emotions, taking frustration and disappointment in themselves out on the closest ones too them, can’t take back words spoken, can’t take back the trauma you drag some one through, bringing them down to your level. It use to kill me to imagine them waking up one day, realizing all this unnecessary shit they went through cause they were hurting in their personal life, to recreate trauma and sabotage the good things going for them. I hope they get better. I hope if you read this and you’re going through something that you’re instincts are telling you it’s not right, I hope that you can find that peace and that confidence to listen to your heart and speak from that place, to be true to yourself, and keep growing, do it for yourself!!
