I was just happy to have the bleed air heat and pressurization flying cancelled checks from BOS to JFK to DET and back every night. The winters were brutal out there on the windy ramps loading/unloading it, one bag at a time. But it was time well spent, building great experience for a 19-23 year old kid.
Don't let if fool you, you can park them in pretty rough strips if need be. Lots of them are still being flogged by kids building hours flying bush here in Australia.

TPE331 is a loud engine, and very powerful for its size and weight. There's not just shaft horsepower but some residual thrust from the exhaust.

Flew into Lakeway once in 1975. Got picked up and taken to a place to have brunch then flew out later. Nice memories.
