    Every single one of these guys that "retired" early, runs a business telling you how to retire early. They didn't retire, they started a new business selling the lie that they retired. This is an ad.

      That's actually very much not the case. Theres groups of thousands of people that have retired early. It's just that the ppl who will be covered in news articles will of course be the ones that want to publically talk about their lives, so they have blogs and podcasts.

    • @aaronjosephs2560
      @aaronjosephs2560 4 года назад +94

      And besides, "retire" doesnt have to mean "never receive another dime again," if you retire at 30 you're probably going to want to keep doing productive things of some sort, and sometimes that means some money will come in. By retiring, these people mean that they have freedom to decide when, how, and why they work, instead of caring about the money.

Its when you live on the income you net worth generates which is living on stock market gains and/or real estate rental income. Financially independent is when your net worth is high enough where you can retire but you choose not to. Never the less its quite impression to reach financially independent at such an early age. • @euenfheiejrj
      @euenfheiejrj 4 года назад

      Alicia Weenum it’s not true. I lived in NYC for 7 years and I still saved. I would argue it’s more reasonable because you don’t need a car and have flexibility in apartments with roommates (which isn’t frowned upon in your 20s there).

      Emily Browning studies have shown that it takes people who live in NY up to 10 years to become financially stable. I’m constantly seeing the financial make up of people and a large amount of them have little to no savings. That’s why I said many and not all.

    In 2010 weren't there free downloadable software available so that anyone with a business could make their own websites? I just never understood how there was money to be made in this anymore by that year unless if you had a huge college background and were specifically employeed by like Target to be a part of a 100 man team to maintain an "innovative" high volume website. That to me is a different level then just throwing up a page with some contact info and not really needing transaction encryption programming and licensing.
