They'd make nice tops to earrings with beaded tassels as well. Lots of room for bead string tops to fit through the bottom of the hole, and put a bead cap or smaller bead on top to cover the top of the hole.

Flatten with jewelry flat nose pliers then put through needle
Press it with your teeth and pull....the tip flattens or do the same with a flat nose plier 😊
