Yknow, i think if architect fort build time gets increased to like a minute with 3 or 4 architects it can stay in the game. I think it failed in this game cuz arrow knights are too eazy to put on the field, but other civs whould need to go age4 to get mortars or heavy cannons to outrange the fort
Yeah in particular aztec do very well vs turtle civs, ive lost many games as Malta vs Arrow knights

Let us be honest. Italy needs to be nerfed really bad. Or else it is the worst thing that happened to the game!!!!
This highlights that many civs still have OP strategies waiting to be discovered. The only problem is that I feel its going to be a long long time until this gets patched so we may have an italy fest at the top of the ladder
It's already been nerfed, dude. In the beginning you didn't even need a card for architects to build fortifications and military units.

early game macro is kinda the most important part of the game, but i hate to see we dont get to see the highlighted civs POV instead we see the enemies for most of the early game :((

no forts are annoying low skill cringe. but prussian blue is a great band, so at least your taste isn't totally terrible
@@sheepthief2785 back in the asian dynasties times forts were a cute bonus that lets you defend a point you care a lot until industrial age. Being able to rebuilt forts were a huge surprise in de. Italy feels very gimmicky
@@prussianblue9316 yeah well then we agree with each other. forts used to be fine. you should be able to get one as a shipment. multiple forts is very common as a card and very common on the ladder. i'm like 1200 and i run into USA all the time and they can have like 5 forts... it's all this dlc cancer i hate it
