Awesome stuff! I had a chance to get my hands on one last weekend. The balance that this frame brings is amazing. It’s definitely going on my shortlist. Thanks for the video!
You may have already tried it- on the P226, 229 and AXG, take the grip panels off, put a section of skateboard tape on the front strap, then put the panels back on to hold the edges. Not as good as the carbide but better than the stock checkering.
Just got mine and reviewed also...but im ready to put it in rotation. What Magwell and 140MM mag extensions go well with the SXG Lower? Or know what 140MM fit the SIG stock magwell?
I'm using a Springer Precision open/limited brass magwell and Henning Group base pads. Any base pads should work with the Springer magwell. The stock magwell doesn't allow for after market base pads.
For LE tactical guys and SOF guys, do you feel shooting an SXG or competition build p320 would actually negatively impact their development as shooters? Especially if they are shooting stock p320s? Or are the systems similar enough that dry firing and competing with guns like the SXG or P320 max will still up their pistol handling and overall ability? What would you recommend? Thanks for all you do
@@isaaclockwood1839 provided they are dry firing, training, and regularly competing in club matches, would the effect be negligible? Additionally, how much does switching between various platforms impact your ability?
I don’t think it would negatively impact us in combat. Training will be key obviously but in cqb/warfare, tactics are just as if not more important. Just because you’re a good shot doesn’t mean you’re going to win. That’s half the picture. To answer your questions though I was using g19 and g17 in the service. We did have red dots and lights. A couple of my buddies made the jump to sig and got me to try it out. Now I run the p320 X five legion. I am able to control it better and you probably will too. I’ve shot Glock again just to see and it did feel off after repping thousands of rounds through the sig. But I would argue my groupings are getting better with Glock too. I don’t think it matters too much unless you’re in a competitive state where slight grip misplacement can throw off your thought processes and mental game while mid run. So if competing I would stick to the same platform and model closely. You’re gonna want that same feel every single time so the only thing you have to focus on is speed and accuracy. For combat, do your runs, fresh up with the feel of your weapon system and go to work. Competitive shooting and warfare are VERY different and most ppl try to group it together. Don’t do it hommie lol hope that helps 🤙🏼🇺🇸
I think training live and dryfire regularly is the key to success regardless the platform. There may small gains with having one that simply feels better than the other but the biggest gains are from the training.
The most gorgeous 320 ever
Agreed 👍
Was waiting for this video
👊
Sweet walk off! That is a sweet gal hard to beat massive weight. Keep putting this through the paces. Rock it up at Nationals good sir good luck!
Thanks bro, will do
I agree with the iteration comment, I sold my legion x5 for a Masterpiece arms DS9 HYBRID. But I might consider this one!
Yes, almost too many options but this is solid.

Yes sir, it's well balanced and seems like the right weight overall.

I will try that when I get my own, thanks!

@@isaaclockwood1839 exactly what i needed to know! new sub here ! thanks!
@@isaaclockwood1839 I’m assuming SP0253 SKU? I noticed they have different ones for full sizes. Is it the X5 or AXG version?
Hi, 2 questions, can you tell me if the grips are OEM, if not where did you get them and who makes the brass magwell, thanks.
The grips are from Carbided_grips and the magwell is from Springer Precision

It will be dependant on the individual and if they actually train, but I don't think there is enough difference to "hurt" their skills.

They should have made a ported version
It's all preference. I dint see a measurable difference when I shoot with ports.
Looks incredible. Will there be a full version with this frame or is it a Frame Only?
Full version will be out first as a.legion I believe.
what happened at the handgun nationals ? my friend
I ended up 11th with a stage win. Very close to my top 10 goal
Excellent work!
These are beautiful but I'm done with the endless iterations of a single sig product.
I can understand that. If you get a chance, try it though.
Have you compared it with the P226 X-FIVE? Wondering if that might be a better option for competition?
I have not had the opportunity yet but I would be surprised if the 226 was as good.
@@isaaclockwood1839 Thanks. Looking forward to another update of your P320 now that you would have used it more.
Would a AXG frame with brass grips, weapon light, and brass magwell be close to that SXG frame Weight and feel wise?
The weight might add up the same but the feel is far better with the sxg over the axg imo.
Do you see any impact on your draw and transition speed being a heavier gun.
The added weight is slightly noticeable but worth it in Stability and control.
@@isaaclockwood1839 thanks.
Doesn’t the mag well put you into the open class? I thought you couldn’t have a mag well in carry optics
Limited optics I think
I'm using this for Limited Optics
Hey, just got my SXG.. as a competitive shooter with this SXG platform what trigger would you recommend and recoil solution
I exclusively use GrayGuns trigger kits. I'm not sure what you mean for recoil solution. I just grip the gun with a proven method.
I was wondering which recoil spring setup you use..
@robinrickhi4934 ahh, I use a 14# spring and stock guide rod.
Thanks for your reply..
Are they putting this grip module into production?
Probably not.
Eventually I'm sure
When are they coming out with the grip module ?
I have no idea. The full gun version will be out first..
Cz75 shadow
CZ Shadow 2 has a better trigger and it's also 750.00 cheaper
Depends on what you like and the purpose. Not sure you pricing is correct though.
