Great interview. I think Walter is one one the best songwriters of our generation. He is like King Midas to so many. I love that I evolved with him & his musical style through the years.
Always listened to “start today” by GB growing up not only because it’s a great song but the positivity in the message helped me when I was feeling lazy. “Start today/procrastinating it can wait”!
#sickofitall the HARDCORE BAND was one of the first I heard of as a young man. Here’s what I remember. 1. SUPER TOUCH 2. QUICKSAND 3. BORN AGAINST 4. Bad brains 5. BURN 6. GORILLA BISCUITS 7. HUSKERDU 8. THE CURE 9. THE PIXIES 10. MAD BALL “The reason I did the list like that is. Not in any particular order. I just wanted to cover the range. Because HARD CORE came off of an UNDERGROUND SCENE that to me was a SUBSET of NEW WAVE. Not that the music was the same, but that the PEOPLE who were open to it, were from the same COUNTER CULTURE at that time. But hardcore was a defining art that opened up creativity, and open mindedness that music needed at that time. ☺️☮️🤓💥💯#hardcore music 1990-2023 SONG EULOGY BORN AGAINST BAND BURN SELF TITLED QUICKSAND SLIP and EYE FOR AN EYE any album. 😁🙏

This earned you a sub. I grew up on Quicksand and have my degree in I/O psychology. What a gem of a channel. Awesome content!

Fantastic interview. Hey Walter - Would you say NYC is still a destination network for original musicians in the indie world?
Thanks for watching!
