Just a phenomenal job by Mattel! Doing a line specializing in s poo specific looks for the characters is something that they have excelled in. Like the matty collector series. Another winner 🏆

Great review on an amazing figure. I definitely appreciate the updates and glad to see MOTU continue. I have the Classics version with the head pack as well and I definitely like the look of the Four Horsemen Head more. Thanks for the review and an amazing figure for those who missed out on Classics. I was never really a fan of the sad elephant look of the original. This look his more befitting of a fire fighter.

The single articulation joint in the arms is exciting to me. It looks so much better than the previous Masterverse double articulated elbow, which looked kinda wonky. This is closer to the Classics look, which I love.

I missed out on MotU Classics. I had started cherry picking them out on the secondhand market for way too much when Masterverse started up. I have to say I'd probably not own a Snout Spout in this scale if not for the line. At any rate, all the New Eternia stuff has been gold.

Part of the fun for me with this figure was not choosing between the Origins and Masterverse versions. I'm doing a mashup that's not based on a previous iteration or concept art. It's ultimately an Origins figure, but will include Masterverse elements as well as Non Snout Spout parts. Admittedly my main Masterverse criticism does not really apply to him, but good old 5.5 MOTU is the Scale that's made my brain buzz since the vintage line.

Definitely Cool. And that Box Art is serious. I would've preferred a darker Color Pallette but not to be more like other iterations, but just for my own aesthetic. Since MOTU is in the Legacy IP Realm at this point, let alone with more than one Line out at the same time, I'd say it's a good thing that they aren't the same thing in different scale. Sure, I think they should be identifiably MOTU (else just do a new Line), but my criticism is reserved for execution over how close it is to something that's already been done (unless it is supposed to be a 1-for-1 remake).
