Something to note: When I fought these guys, I didn’t treat them like enemies. Whenever we fought I was like “This oughta be fun” or “Alright, show me watch ya got!”. I don’t view Deep Cut as true villains, I just see them as obstacles in the journey to overcome.
For me Big Man’s was the hardest. Constantly having to run and manage ink while making sure you don’t duplicate so many that the attack spam becomes overwhelming-it was really tough.
I can agree with big man being so easy but I found shiver harder as you had to ink a moving platform to damage the boss, but Frye is kinda difficult for me, this is my personal opinion by the way
It would be mega cool if they became more involved in future Splatfests by showing up directly on the maps. That way you could splat them and possibly gain more clout for your team.
I love it. It could be like King Salmonid Extra Wave. Have a 4 v 1 with the opposing team’s idol. The catch is you only fight with whatever loadout you have equipped, no specials, idol’s attacks are insta kill and no revives.
It would be really cool if any boss showed up in a splatfest, I would love having a 40ft tall boss with a gang of inklings climbing up it with zipcasters
i think for me it was frye>big man>shiver. i thought big man was hilariously easy until the final phase. boy was i wrong frye kicked my ass the most though
The best part is that the similarities don’t stop there. -trio with one member being non-humanoid -the two humanoid members have warm and cold hair colors -The two humanoid members use other animals to attack -not even really that evil -there was an episode where team rocket got a radio show. There’s probably a couple other things that I missed.

Is it just me or was Frye's fight unreasonably hard? Shiver and Big Man's fights did enough to keep me on my toes while still feeling like a balanced challenge, but Frye's fight was straight up unfair and borderline unbearable. Also can I just say, Big Man has by far the best boss fight. It's a Super Mario Sunshine reference, and he's the only Deep Cut member who fights you himself without the help of another animal he tamed.
I never found Frye's that hard, but judging by the comments, it seems you're not alone Frye goes down really fast if you utilize splashdown enough, though
@@bbrice5639 there's a difference between challenging and being unfair. Half of Frye's attacks are straight up unavoidable and do so much damage that they're practically instant-kill. The other boss fights were fairly challenging and not all that easy, aside from the very first boss (but all first bosses are easy, it goes without saying).

This games bosses disappointed me and impressed me, I completely loved deep cut after all of this and they are sick as hell, but I can’t help but feel like the game needed more bosses, the fights with deep cut are amazing, really wish they made more bosses to the hero mode though
