  • This isn't the backroll you might brag about. It is however one of the most usefull learning techniques you can apply and cary into future progressions.

    Really good advice, Rygo. Doing rolls especially front rolls is very different in 12 knots vs 20 knots. I like working on stuff in lighter winds. 20+ knots and mistakes get ugly pretty quick. thanks

    If wanting to add a loop, what would be best to try first, keep pulling with back hand or do a down loop with your front hand,

      Keep pulling! The kites already at the other side so a back loop will have no guts. Just like a down loop. I actually had to do a few that day because it was just too light to not. - Rygo

      I sometimes do a loop while riding just to test the speed the kite will loop in that wind so I know whether to pull the loop half way through the backroll or if I need to start it early because its so light. Either way if youre going to try a backroll kiteloop you must commit, things go wrong if you chicken out half way through.
