Salt helps to prevent colour from fading. It's also used to wash fabrics like Ankara when you notice it fades. Very effective.

You can use white sinamay, and i didn't rinse with water after dye

It depends on the consistency of the mixed dye. the higher the consistency, the shorter the time and vice versa

It depends on the effectiveness of the dye and specific colour you are looking out for. Shorter time for lighter colour and longer time for deep colour.
