SW signals are beamed from transmitters to the sky and ionosphere reflects the same back on the surface of the earth which are picked by radio receivers. The ionosohere is a natural sattellite and no govt has any device to stop it.
Dear Parvinderji, I am a regular viewer of your channel and I wanted to thank you for the nice content on the radio. I actually bought the same radio today as I found it at a good price. However, I already have D328 and I find it difficult to tune the SW frequency. I think I can easily do that with D808. Thank you for your help and keep up the good work!

Sheoran ji Namaste. Since you are electronics engineer is it possible to develop an electronic filter that will cut out all electronic fistrurbances viz. Mobile phone signals , wifi signal ibterference and LED l8hht's radiation interference ?.
Niladri ji, bas padhayi padhayi kari thi Electronics Engineering ki. I never worked in this field, ever after. Even the studies I did were just pure theoretical type, they never made us do pratical stuff. So, ai have no clue in this whole wide world how to achieve what you have asked. Whatever I know about Radio or its working, is purely through my own efforts and separate studies. Electronics Engineering studies have at least give you courage to not being afraid of technical terms like Modulation or circuit or oscillator or filters or spectrum etc hahhahahahha.

Thomas Dolby invented the Dolby noise reduction system for tape recorders and maybe just maybe if it is possible to make something similar for reducing the electrostatic nouse in rafios. Maybe an electronic engineer like can throw better light on this thought.

Niladri ji, that Eton SSB Radio is very expensive and out of my budget for the moment. But God willing, some day, that Radio will be covered too as it is in my wishlist.
If you know anyone who travels to China then you can get this radio through him as it will be a lot cheaper than buying from Amazon. Before covid ( 2021 ) this was selling for about Rs.7, 000/

I get very little time to tune around on Radio. Last time I played MW, I remember BBC being played at 1413 kHz; but I quickly changed to 1422 kHz (CRI), because I was trying to figure out something about their transmission. . Anyway, thanks for your well wishes.
