  • From Kazakhstan I cross into Russia, where I promptly get my first flat tire and fixing it was kind of a pain. 1300km in which I traverse Russia and reach Ukraine. Not the most exciting part of my travels, because this part of russia features mostly giant agricultural fields.
    In 2018 I did this trip where I shipped my Moped to Mongolia and rode it all the Way back home to Austria. In 3 Months I covered 13.000 kilometers crossed the Mongolian steppes and went through the Pamir Mountains. All in all it was an awesome adventure I wouldn't want to miss.

    Man, I don't know where to start to express my envy...I saw ALL Your videos since Pamir is my dream trip....I have to make it soon....and Your videos were extremely helpfull. I am a biker but I have to tell You that doing it with a 50cc mope might be even a more pleasant experience...I would call it "slow adventure"....all my congrats :)

      Thanks, it certainly is a different experience compared to a motorcycle. And I can only recommend visiting the Pamir, certainly a Highlight of my trip.

      Maxi Touring Danke! Bis das aber wahr werden kann, muss das Mofa (erstmal wieder zum Laufen gebracht werden😂) etwas modifiziert werden. Am Ende fahr ich die Berge rückwärts runter.😂

    3:50 What did that woman say that made you laugh??

    • @bullanguero82
      @bullanguero82 Год назад +1

      Because of the context, I want to think she asked something like "troubles?", and when they realized he wasn't russian, they just took off. I'm guessing he laughed because of the strangeness of the interaction. But I don't understand russian neither, so what the hell do I know? Haha.

    Power Maxi-Man! Die wenigen Aufrufe sind nicht gerechtfertigt. Grossartig und mutig! Bau auf 70 ccm und 14:45 Übersetzung um.

    • @maxitouring
      @maxitouring  5 лет назад +1

      Es ist eine 14:45 Übersetzung, 70cc sind leider nicht ideal für solche Reisen, hab schonmal einen 500km 3 Tage lang gefahren.

      @@maxitouring jetzt machst mich aber neugierig, was ist daran nicht so optimal? Ist sie damit zu durstig?

    • @maxitouring
      @maxitouring  5 лет назад +1

      @@Moped-Frank Durst wär nicht das Problem, hauptsächlich dass die im unteren Drehzahlbereich enorm Leistung verlieren und deutlich wärmer werden. Mit Gepäck auf ner richtig steilen Strecke, wenn des moped dich nicht mehr schafft und heiß wird kannst alles vergessen dann fehlt sogar die Leistung um sich selbst im Schrittempo hochzubringen, der OriZylinder schafft das allemal. Abgesehen davon dass viele Umdrehungen einfach den Verschleiß von Lagern, Kupplung und co beschleunigen.

    Hello Maxie touring, what tires are you using on your Puch Maxie, I would like to have the the original 2.00 by 17 inch possible.Thanks

    • @maxitouring
      @maxitouring  5 лет назад +1

      I use 2.25x17 Tires, which are original for my wheels, If you have spoked wheels a 2.00 can be used. Completely original would be semperit Tires, which are unfortunately no longer in production, so choose what you like best, for the Trip i Had swallow roadstar Tires.

      @@maxitouring Thanks for responding my ftiend.I have a 1978 Puch Maxie that I am working on. How are the stock shocks able to survive the rough terrain that you ride on. I'm very impressed by your videos and what you've accomplished on your maxie......amazing really.

      @@darrenjackson6207 Thanks, well the stock shocks just bottom out and thats it. I just had to tighten the bolts holding the Springs on top on a regular basis in rough terrain.

    That sour, dry feeling in the mouth we would call an "astringent" taste in English.

    • @maxitouring
      @maxitouring  4 года назад +1

      Yes, it wasn't that however, it had a nice sourness, but wasn't juicy at all and it didn't leave a bad aftertaste, "mealy" i think is the correct term
