Unpopular opinion: I don’t like any of the covers that have the growl in it (that includes the Miku cover that does) Miku wasn’t even intended to growl at that moment and while many may think her yell is weak I actually really like it. And to be completely honest, their growls sound a little inappropriate in this song specifically and feel like sandpaper…especially Teto’s and Len’s. (I say in this song specifically because I actually really like Flower’s growl in “Love Ka?” And “Bocca Della Verita”). Ah yes a song about getting caught up in what was once an innocent lie and now a giant prison trapping the character's (miku's) soul because they could not brake the cycle of lies they created. This lie doubles as a palace growing bigger and bigger as the lie is something that "looks" beautiful covering up the increasingly dark and dreary prison to the soul. At the end, they stayed with their palace as they were unable to brake their cycle. This resulted in the palace growing so big that it collapsed in on itself revealing the prison behind it. This song is super relatable to almost everyone. Most people have lied > let it build by justifying it as we go > hurt others &/or themselves amounting to immense guilt.

After playing persona this pv seems even better (if you don’t know what I’m talking about the dungeon is based off of the velvet room in persona and the palace like place is based off of palaces in p5. At the end where the palace is crumbling down it’s supposed to take after the palaces in persona destroying itself after you get the treasure)

Growls and whoas that remind me of Americana, Falling, End of the line, and Staring at the sun, lyrical themes that remind me of also Falling, Walla Walla, and End of the line again.
End note: I listen to a shedload of Vocaloid songs and other songs, and I got here from some "guess the Vocaloid song" thing when I was trying to find some musical gems that may have slipped under my radar for way too long.
