I have never owned a Loungefly, but I have watched many videos around them, so I can say with certainty that they can pack a lot more than you portray in this video. And if you’re carrying an entire supermarket with you daily, and not just your bare essentials, then of course you’re going to have a problem. I’m a minimalist packer myself, so a mini or small backpack works for me, though I’ll happily wear the regular size as well. Whether I’m just simply in the mood to wear it, or I have to go out of town overnight. I will use a tote as well, unless I know it’s going to rain.
As a woman with cerebral palsy, while I can easily just use a tote bag as my daily, I have since felt the desire to roll with both again when out grocery shopping. With my backpack on my back and my tote bag hanging on my walker handle like always. In today’s world, you just never know what can happen, and wearing a backpack is far more convenient and comfortable for our backs anyway. And upper body strength is something everyone can benefit from, as well as body strength overall.
If there is one thing we can both agree on, it’s this design style. At 41, maybe I’m just too old school, but I’ve never liked backpacks that are designed with separate pieces like on that Minnie Mouse one. I’m not OCD on much of anything, but this is definitely one of those things. I’m always too afraid they will get dirty or dented or even broken off over time. I prefer having it just be your classic fully printed on design. I never spend more than $30, maybe $40 on a backpack or any other bag. But regardless of the price, if I’m spending x amount of money on something, I don’t just want it to look cute and be functional - I want to know it is going to last. And while I have no plans on getting a Loungefly or any other similar brand of backpack like theirs, this is one design style I give a hard pass on. The size, I can work with. I love the size as well as the color. The rest, not so much

Thank you for your comment! They are not for everyone. I think I over pack on a daily basis all the time! Materials of the bags are very important.

@@Alycia_Kass Very true. It's always good to be prepared. On top of that, the material and overall stitching quality of the bag in question can literally make or break it. They sure don't make things like they used to.
And I won't lie, I've been tempted to see what all the fuss is about with these bags. But I'm not the trendy type, and I don't like that they are so overpriced. I'd most likely only ever get one if it were gifted to me. Especially when what I currently have and use still works. All for more than half, if not double, the price. In today's economy of inflation and over-consumerism/over-consumption. It's the smart thing to do

@@ChildofChrist1983 agree! My mums bags from the 80s have held up far longer than mine do nowadays! So sad

@@Alycia_Kass I know, right? Even our very clothes and food, the quality in that has changed so much through the decades. Honestly, I think the only thing I can say that has truly ever held up nowadays - besides a well-made tote or backpack - is our wallets and makeup bags. Makeup pouches being what I tend to use as my ultimate minimal purse. That's how light of an everyday packer I am.
But I also have clothes that I've owned since the mid to late 90s, and they're still wearable. Same goes for much of my apartment's appliances and decor. Still going strong after 20+ years. Excellent quality! We're lucky to find anything that compares nowadays. So very sad indeed

I think it depends on if you're a backpack person or a mini backpack person.

Did you know there are like three sizes of the loungefly bags? There's a mini, a medium size and a slightly larger size that's taller in height. Also I've never needed to carry a super large bag in the parks because I always get a locker for my other things and I personally don't like to take such a huge bag on the rides with me. I'm loungefly all the way for sure cuz they are much more practical for everday use as well as I don't like to carry too much as I have always preferred smaller purses in general. I just need to have something carry my phone (which isn't big as I have small child size hands 😂) , waller, keys, sanitizer, lipstick 💄, hand lotion, Bluetooth headphones, perfume, and whatever other little items like that and it has fit all my daily essentials just fine. My collection consists of loungefly and dooney and burke bags. From what I've seen, stone and clover charges Dooney and Burke prices without the quality of Dooney and Burke. I for sure am not impressed by stoney and clover.

Hmm, I haven't started a RUclips channel lol, but who knows... maybe I will. It would be nice to upload a video of my collection lol. It's nice to see how everyone has their own collections and reasons behind why. Thank you for your video. It's always nice to see different perspectives. Also I love anything Disney really ❤. New subbie over here 😊.
