- How do different programs compare when importing photos from a card? In this video I compared Photo Mechanic and Capture One with the latest versions of Lightroom to see which came out fastest. Yes, Lightroom 6.2 was the slowest, but by how much? Watch and find out. It is also interesting to compare performance with the old Import Photos method (which Adobe now say Lightroom will revert to in the next release) to see how fast that is.
