I don't use fanning powder but if I did try it about 10 years ago. And naturally I did it pretty much the first way. Sprinkle the smallest amount and faro. But it doesn't work for me, others swear by it. Using fanning powder is like using a brand of cards. You used what suits your preference. But we all try it at least once. Kinda like black seals.
Because you're doing it too hard. Le Paul does need pressure but once you do it enough times you'll get the feel for it. It doesn't need all the pressure in the world. The Le Paul should glide smoothly with the right amount of pressure.
掌中蓮lotusinhand I've been searching that video for years. It's the only known video from Pred that I don't have. Do you guys maybe have that vid or know someone who has it? It would mean the world to me to finally get that video after so many desperate attempts of finding it
Sergio Landro it's been deleted a long time ago. If I'm correct you could have only access it from his facebook page because it was unlisted... if someone finds it I swear I'll pay 10$ paypal.
The ways explained for applying fanning powder is too complicated. Just do a flower fan and add small amounts of powder on the short end of deck and rotate the fan around to ensure all cards will touch some powder. Then do Faros on the short and long edges, add some cuts and more Faros. This way all cards will be coated evenly and should only take a few minutes. Let me know if you guys like this method.
We have tried many methods and while this one is the most time consuming it also consistently produces the best results. This is the exact method Predator used to make a Tragic Royalty deck fan properly, which we don't think any other method could pull off.

About 5 years of doing cardistry and like 2 of actually doing it I have never herd of fanning powder
Can I use this fanning powder on plastic playing cards or it is just for paper playing cards,... Plz!!!! 🙏🙏🙏 Tell me....
Don't use too much powder otherwise you'll get the opposite effect. Too much friction, that means bad spreads and fans.
I enjoy your videos!! What type of deck you are using in this video. I like them.
It's the Ventus playing cards, which we produced. And glad you enjoy our videos!
Why does my deck always get warped after the lepaul? Even though i try unbending it, it just gets worse.
I just started this move, and have been finding the same problem

Any good way to procure fanning powder? I don’t have any local magic shops so that doesn’t work
You can always buy online. Lot's of online magic stores sell them. If not, then you can definitely find it on ebay.
lotusinhand thanks👍
