- iPhone 14 screen removal and installation process is very easy, but you will need to keep in mind that the left of the device has flex cables near the opening. The repair difficulty for this repair is only five (5) out of ten (10).
TOOLS and PARTS:
iPhone 14 "GOOD" Screen: amzn.to/41QH4Z7
iPhone 14 Cheaper screens: look on ebay
Basic Tools: amzn.to/3uArZJi
Heat-gun: amzn.to/3fVDY03
Blade Scalpel: amzn.to/3v98Peb
B7000 Glue: amzn.to/40AJAlE
Repair clamps: amzn.to/3QUFwcP
Damaging these cables, especially the cable on the top will disable permanently the face ID function. A few cleanups on the frame and the front earpiece need to be transferred to the new screen. True tone will be disabled after the new screen has been installed.
Everything else should work fine just like in my test in this tutorial. Apple has made updates to allow batteries and screen replacement without disabling keys features.

This video is excellent. I love when you say what did or did not work to open the iphone. Your video is much more useful than the ones that makes everything look easy. Thank you !
Glad it helped! Always trying to show everything so that viewers can make informed decision ( I can do this or this might not be something for me) lol.
Hi there, I tried to replace my iPhone 14 screen myself before watching this video. I didn't take the proximity sensor from my old screen and threw it out. I was wondering why the screen worked but my phone kept on restarting. Good to know the phone can still be saved! Thank you brother
You're welcome 👋🏽. After adding a new sensor it should work like normal without any issues. Did recently install an aftermarket proximity sensor on a 13 mini everything went well no problem so far with the aftermarket sensor. If you still have the screen (may be already gone) you can redo that part and it will work fine if not damaged etc...
@@NoahBoulder It’s called boot looping mate, it’s an Anti Repair Technique.
your videos are so relaxing!
🤭🤣 is that true.....lol
So can you put a link for a iPhone 14 Plus screen? And so putting a LCD screen is fine you don’t need a OLDD?
Why don't you switch it off before opening it ?
@@fantv525 because he can't.
@@VipaPlayz24 🤔
@@fantv525 Are you suggesting he puts it in iTunes or recovery mode or something?
@@VipaPlayz24 not sure what you're talking about. Any phone can be switched off.
@@fantv525 You have zero idea what you’re talking about fella. How do you expect him to switch off the DAMAGED Phone?!!!
Why not program the new screen to carry over true tone?
It is extra cost. You'll need to buy the programmer and maybe 1 extra cable to do that. I don't do these videos because I have a shop etc....I show the easiest way to do it with less expenses. It's true you can buy and return the machine to program but that's a moral choice etc....
Now with apple self repair service you an bypass the programming and loss of features....
In the video below I have bought everything from apple self repair service and everything is like new no loss of feature of any sort it's all good BUT it's highly costly getting orders orignal parts.

So you don’t have to unplug the battery before you taking the screen off?
No you don't have to remove it. The designed it so that the battery cable is only on accessible from the back while the screen stays at the front.
You can turn off the device if possible then do the screen replacement without disconnecting the battery. Now if you cannot turn it off you can still do the screen replacement then once done you will force restart the device. Everything will reboot at that moment. If you don't want to do it that way you will require to remove the back glass and disconnect the battery cable do the screen replacement then seal the front and Back.
@@ersbit what if the touch is not working and you can’t turn the phone off?
@@ersbit oh ok gotcha
You have to unplug the battery before take off the screen. It will fry the mother board. The battery is located in the back. Back glass won’t break
@@naheimshihadeh5090 back won’t break? Who told you that? Lol
What are the gold contacts for on back of the screen please?
It must be for some sort of grounding when it comes in contact with the pins on the inside of the phone or components inside the device.
If you put tape on the screen then you can use the suction cups and not risk scratching the housing with the metal tool
Great advice. I forgot to insert that line in during the video. You're right that's a solution.
I just watched again. Why you didn’t show when you did a force restart?
And those are two different phones lol
First one back was black and the second phone back is yellow 😂😂 nice try man..
1- showing everything is good but then it's too long people complain.
2- This devices was blue I had a bad front and Back it became yellow because the blue frame was broken.
3- Look for the channel mobiletear I have published the video Restoration of the phone from blue to yellow with screen and back replaced.
4- The individual videos shows more of the process than jamming everything in a single video that human beings are going to watch and enjoy then like share subscribe for the other thing to give more distribution to the video. That's why I separate and individualized to give more chance to each one and try my best to respond to any questions that is not obviously answered in the video.
5- Again I gave you the answer (solution) to the problem statement you have raised to me. You can remove the back and disconnect the battery cable then proceed with the front. Again that is the best practice but you may proceed with force restart if you don't want to deal with the back and redo a back replacement.
7- I don't know what else to say. I do not gain anything by giving untrue statements 🤷🏽♂️
8-There can be confusion but no lies 🤣
9- I have not done the screen of the 15 or 14 Plus yet if not I would have called you in the video specially and show you the force restart stuff and you'll see it works.
10-Check mobiletear channel the video frame replacement will show you the before and after of this iPhone 14 (it's compressed I go through front, back and frame in less than 10mn).
@@ersbit so. Let them complain but I gotcha!
Hahaha I really like to be as transparent as I can. 👍🏽
Well explained
Can you have the orignal one iphone 14 pro max display
Yes. Are you in the US?
@@ersbit no iam in india right now
What screwdriver do you need
@@Shavil-bz9yk Pent-elope and TriWing screw driver.
What will happen when you didn’t disconnect the battery cable before the screen flex.
you can short circuit thr board/screen
That is a possibility. Nevertheless it's minor with these modern smartphones. The best practice is to disconnect the battery just to mitigate all probability of being one of those who experienced shorted board problem.
$120
Is that the price for good screens?
Where did you normally get phone parts?
Looked for a screen on Amazon and ebay. It was the same so I got the one from eBay. The difference in price for a original screen and these ones is pretty high 🤣. Do you have tips for me (where to get parts?)
