Many thanks, Sweet Music Medicicne, for recording and filming this with such good sound quality. It was composed by Bo Carter in 1934. As Brenda Mello has pointed out (in comments on another video), the song has a 32-bar a-a-b-a structure, and has much in common with 'Fingering With Your Fingers', which Tuba Skinny also play. It should not be confused with 'Taint Nobody's Business But Mine', which is a quite different song. Tuba Skinny are here playing it in the key of D flat, which is rarely used by traditional jazz bands. Sounds to me as though the Middle Eight uses the sequence: | F7 | F7 | Bb7 | Bb7 | Eb7 | Eb7 | Ab7 | Ab7 |. Is that right?
A first rate cover of a fine song that I remember from when I was a kid. No Erika? I thought that she was going to be around for the festivals and this is a big one.
@@PopsCoffee There's a song they do that reminded me at first of Make me down a pallet. But I listened closely and realized I needed to dig deeper. Robin was spot on when naming each song at French Quarter Fest. I only missed one as I recorded.... and that was when I had to swap batteries. My youth, RUclips analytics says that about 85 percent of our fans are over 55 and most are men. How to get younger people interested in this great music.
Really enjoyed this one, as normal with their music.
Another round of applause for THE BAND!
The usual fine performance by the band. Love the interplay between Craig and Shaye...................
Thanks Sweet!! Tuba Skinny the ultimate band, greeting from Argentina

Pops we truly appreciate fans with a deep knowledge base like you and all your comments. Thank you, thank you.
I love them all, but Robin is THE SHOW when he takes off! Look up old TS videos to see him on the street years ago.
The fans all love him, too. When he does a solo the applause is tremendous. Thank you for tuning in and watching

Are you sure, Dan? Could you be remembering from your youth ''Tain't Nobody's Business But Mine', which is a quite different song?
