I'm so darn proud of you for everything you've done. I chatted with you a tiny bit after your first marathon of this journey and I mentioned how inspiring your journey is, and it remains so. As someone who is chronically ill you brought my passion for taking care of my body back when I was grappling with all the pain and depression associated with my many disabilities. I've made a lot of progress, have gotten stronger, have gotten further medical support and care, and the drive I've had to do that came partially from you. You're making a huge difference.
Thank you @@PhilyBowden! I'm glad it resonated with you! I'll be battling the rest of my life (I have a genetic disorder) but keeping up with the running world via you, this messy happy, etc now that I can't run has driven me through my battles and will keep me fighting physically! It's paid off so far, I used to not be able to climb stairs much at all and now I can climb my boyfriend's parents house stairs all the way up 3 floors, carrying a cat! It's not a marathon, but it's a win for sure. I also just quit school and started pursuing my passion of art and it was partially your bravery that inspired that too!
The way you speak about Daniel ❤️. I can’t tell you how important it is to tell a man this from time to time. He will literally remember for years to come. Philly your a machine 🔥💪🏻 Richie 🇮🇪
First saw you doing a Parkrun with Harry Morgan, watched the few vids you had on your channel and it's cool coming on the journey with you! Exciting to see how things develop :)
You are such a light to me! I realize that I am old enough to be your mother, yet I am still an avid runner, scratching my way down to a 3:30 marathon! I've only come as close as 3:32, but alas....and of course, I identify with your struggles with eating disorders (mine lasted much longer, I'm afraid), so took to running again after my three kiddos were in the picture (2006). Many marathons later, still working on my own journey as a whole person! I too am fortunate to have found my career (teaching 3rd grade) here in California, but running keeps me SANE! Love you and Daniel both!!
Your story of ED and running hit so deep and so close to home. Eating based of my mental health is so true and so hard to explain to people. It’s amazing to hear that there’s a brighter future for us dealing with ED
Thanks so much for sharing about your eating disorder. I struggled with an eating disorder as an athlete going from high school through College. Doctors I had told me that I was fine and it was normal that I didn’t get my period because I was an athlete and then I had a coach make fun of me for being small and looking I’d never spent time in a weight room. I had to stop running for a long time due to injury and It wasn’t until I was out of college and also met my now husband that I started to heal from my Ed. I am just returning to running after years off and it feels so much better and feels rewarding and inspiring rather than punishing! It has been so cool to follow your story! Please don’t stop sharing!
Phily, thanks so much for taking the leap! I coach high school xc and track, and most kids are TERRIFIED to follow their dreams. Your videos are so encouraging, real, but inspirational to those who have a dream. Keep up the great work! And by the way, I love Daniel's part in your videos too! Always miss him when he's not with you!
If anyone deserves an Olympic place, then you are it! The work you put in, the transparency in showing your training, life etc is so honest and inspiring. Keep on grinding girl!
Charisma,, humor, talents, enthusiasm, chaos, running, story telling, entertainment! A few of the reasons why this channel is a must watch. Well done! All the best goi g forward!
When someone has ambitions, the will and the potential to accomplish things, it's a good thing that so many people support her. You are one of those persons, and you really deserve to be supported, we are all behind you rooting for you to accomplish those objectives. You are inspiring , fun, courageous, determined, hard worker. Now you are not only a UK star but also an international star as many of your followers are from abroad, that's the magic of the Internet. Good luck Phily we are proud of you.
It’s your speech at 10:34 what mark the difference between you/your channel and other running content available. The way you are always eager to speak about how you feel, your journey and also kind of being yourself and hilarious in videos. It’s just amazing, thanks for this
Just realised i hadn’t subscribed to your channel even though I love your videos. Subbed. Thank you for your openness about your eating disorder story.
The first video of yours I ever watched was about your time at the Oregon Ducks. As another runner who has recovered from ED, I always think that the same single minded/borderline obsessional traits that led to me being dangerously underweight have also led me to being successful in other ways and an OK runner. I wonder if it feels the same for you. Love the grind 🤩
Hey, I just wanted to say that my videos are a huge motivation for me. I ran my first marathon this year (with still lots of time for improvement, but it's a start), and even though I'm sick atm and miserably pushing myself through a workday, your videos make me wanna push myself again. Half Marathon up next for me, so thanks!
My daughter (teenage runner) and I love your videos and seeing you work so hard for your running dream (but also work so hard to love the run!). It's inspiring. I don't doubt your Oregon video was hard, but I want to say-again-thank you for shedding light on these issues that so many female runners face. You and Allie Ostrander (@allie_ostrander) are two amazing women runners who have shared your past running journeys as well as your current ones, including those types of lows. It means a lot to my daughter, who hopes to make running a lifelong passion, while also competing as far up the competition ladder as she can. And it means a lot to me, her father, and her mother (also a fan!), to know the kinds of struggles, risks, and hardships female runners face to be able to meet their triumphs. To put it more shortly, your videos inspire my daughter to be a good, healthy runner who pursues sustainable running, and the joy of it all. (And not just her, but her mom and I both get inspired by your work! And I don't doubt we're the only ones!) Thanks to you and Daniel (@DanielMoves), and we'll be cheering and following you on your Houston run! Good luck at altitude! And have a GREAT New Year! Keep being awesome!!!!
Getting back into running in 2020… I remember seeing you running around Dulwich Park with DL on the bike and being like “oh she’s like a REAL runner”… love love love seeing where y’all are now 🇺🇸
Read the comments and everyone has really covered it all… all I can add is that I personally admire you, enjoy you and look forward to one day meeting you!
I am really appreciating the editing. Love Phily as her different potential jobs, haha! Thanks for this channel and I will definitely be watching as you go for your Olympic dream 🙌
I hope you maximize your o2 transport potential while at altitude. You are brimming with confidence. I do not believe attitude is everything, but it is a necessity and you got it rolling right now. Ride that wave Philly.
Ever since seeing Harry Morgan interview you on his channel I found your story so interesting but that really came alive once you started your channel. Have loved seeing the progress and am sure there is so much more to come! Great video Phily 🥰
Can't believe you have only been doing these for 2 years, I came across you when you linked up with some other running youtuber i was watching(can't remember which!) but i reckon it must be within a month or 2 of you starting then,i certainly couldn't tell. Good luck for 2024.
Thank you, Phily for all the videos you make, for your passion and the positive energy you spread around you. You are a great person and I can't wait to see what you are going to do next. Love!
Hey, I used to be like that, no direction after school. Worked dead end jobs for years , now I own my own business “ Running specific sports therapy” a one stop shop for treatment, nutrition, running clothing and accessories and I love it 😅
Well done on everything you’ve accomplished and building this career for yourself, and happy running in 2024! (And yeah, Subway became my go-to place for lunch when I last visited America.)
Welcome back to the USA Phily!!!! Absolutly love your videos and it is hard to believe that it has been 2 years. I hope you had a good Holiday and I look forward to you crushing Houston! Love the grind and thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Excited to see that 2024 has in store for you and Daniel! I'm a more recent follower but have binged your videos (and Daniels as well). You have inspired me to sign up for my first ever 10k run :)
Really great video. I think lots of people struggle with identity especially as we grow up people around change but we don't see ourselves change as easily as we see every second of our lives. Love the content and you got this!
Thank you for your videos and your energy! You have helped me get back into running which I love after a long break from an injury. Your videos always bring me joy and help me have a more positive outlook on life, also having struggled with disordered eating in the past and sometimes still. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s great ❤
Watching this has motivated me to get back out running and run my second half marathon in end of March next year, because my mental health is on the floor and I haven’t run for over 6 months, coincidence I think not! Keep up the great content Phily! X
Hi Philly I have been following your journey for a few years now! I love your videos, your energy and the way you and Daniel tell the stories of this thing we all call life! Love the grind! 😊
So glad to have found your channel this year! Your videos are wonderfully entertaining and inspire me to run further and faster. Thank you Phily and Daniel for sharing so much with us ❤ Here’s to an incredible 2024 🏆
I found your channel a while ago, bonus points for your name being philly, i am a Phillip so its close enough lol. Ive been following your free programming for over half a year now getting pbs in my 5 and 10k!
I have watched your running journey and have very much enjoyed seeing you achieve many goals and dreams. You are both doing a wonderful job and I love following your success, so good luck for the up coming marathon I will watch and support you all the way to the finishing line!!!!! Gooooo Philly! 🎉
I could tell you were in Flagstaff by your background. So beautiful there! Yeah, those in room coffee makers are terrible. Get coffee from the lobby. 😂😂 You and Daniel just seem to belong together.
there were traffic jams on some sections of the mw way today, you’ll be glad you missed those!. on the upside, horse eggs were in short supply. love the grime.
I love how honest you are as always! Great video to watch before I go on a little walk/run trail run with my dog, after a little injury (hope it's little). Thank you and have a great stay in Flagstaff.
Welcome to America Phily. I hope you have an amazing race! I won’t be there (the US is a big place), but this American is definitely rooting for you to do great. 👍
Excellent video!!! Hopefully you'll be shooting film on what happens at your Training Camp. This is not something anyone else has really filmed on. Glad I stayed on till the end when you said you'd be racing Houston. I'll be running that too as I make a comeback to road marathons after having had 3 mini strokes in 2015/16, then having to learn to walk and run again without falling over. But, due to my muscle impairment issues from the strokes, I'll be pushing for a Boston Qual time at Houston under the Boston Athletic Association's expanded Athletes with Disabilities (AWD) program. It's a date!!! See ya in Houston. I take it that you'll be shooting for a British Qual Time for the Olympics in Houston? Flat with only one dip.
All the best in Houston. Hope you get that Boston QT! I'm sure it's been a real grind getting back to fitness after three strokes but it just goes to show your grit, determination and talent. All the best!
I'm a month late to your video but I feel you on the Boston airport weirdness. I had to walk to technically a different terminal to get food. It was weird AF.
I guess not winning races could be stressful seeing as you have so much public support so I hope you get some real profitable results. Being so young you have a lot of time if you can afford to keep at it. I always root for you but I've also always rooted for Molly Seidel so it will be mixed emotions if the two of you ever race. :o)
Found out about you from a telegraph article fighting the power, heard about your RUclips from a video on Jog on, sticking around for the content, journey and great running tips until I see them 5 rings tattooed….. and if Dan wants to do a Gyros tutorial, that would be tight. 😅
bought Philly stock way back when. def holding on. good luck with everything
Haha sounds like a good soup! 😉

Thank you Jamie this one hits deep, and to throw it back I’m proud of you too! Sounds like you’ve really been battling and it’s paying off!
Good luck on your journey @JaimeWareham. Smash it.
Thank you @@PhilyBowden! I'm glad it resonated with you! 2024 is gonna be another exciting year for you.

Same. Love your content Phily and Harry was a great person to introduce you. Keep being amazing 👏
It’s cool having you here for the journey Iain!
That video was my entry-drug as well. I laughed so hard at his recap where he compared his near-death experience to your low-effort run 😂
*YOU ARE GONNA CRUSH THIS MARATHON*
You are such a light to me! I realize that I am old enough to be your mother, yet I am still an avid runner, scratching my way down to a 3:30 marathon! Love this, we all share more than we realise I think! Sending sub 3:30 vibes!
This channel is one of that channels were the quality and content is so good but it didn't get the 100000 yet, like, damn that deserves way more

Haha oh the days of lockdown jam-packed DP loops! Sending the best return to running vibes!
Been there, doing yoga in the airport. People are amazing in their ability to just completely ignore what you think will ID you as a little odd.
Read the comments and everyone has really covered it all… all I can add is that I personally admire you, enjoy you and look forward to one day meeting you!
Just got back into running after a few years off due to knee injury after injury and this channel and jog on really giving me the motivation

Really struggling with motivation at the moment to go for a run, but these videos always help so much!
It’s natural to struggle with motivation, action comes first, that’s the hard part!
Excited to see that 2024 has in store for you and Daniel! I'm a more recent follower but have binged your videos (and Daniels as well). You have inspired me to sign up for my first ever 10k run :)

Outstanding video! Inspiring ❤
Great video, thanks for being so inspirational
I could tell you were in Flagstaff by your background. So beautiful there! Yeah, those in room coffee makers are terrible. Get coffee from the lobby. 😂😂 You and Daniel just seem to belong together.
there were traffic jams on some sections of the mw way today, you’ll be glad you missed those!. on the upside, horse eggs were in short supply. love the grime.
Let’s go Phily!!
Great video as always. Good luck in Houston.
That pancake maschine...
It should be dreesed like a little animal, pooping pancakes!
I know, my brain is strange... 🙂
I really enjoy your videos, it helps keep me motivated in my own running! Thank you for taking the time to make them!
Another Phily video, another W
Good luck in the next marathon!
Hope the training goes great, go smash that Qualifying time!
You're very lucky. I hate having to run after a day sat behind a desk at work!
Philly, you shared exactly same feelings as me when I go to work in the US, airport and etc. I also drop the room keys 😂
You’re awesome ❤
I love how honest you are as always! Great video to watch before I go on a little walk/run trail run with my dog, after a little injury (hope it's little). Thank you and have a great stay in Flagstaff.

What a journey, indeed!
Cool video, really interesting journey you totally deserve every bit of success, the passion for running & hard work, is awesome! 🏃🏽♂️👍🏼🎥👊🏼👏👣✌️🌴😀

@estherking833 Thank You!!!
I'm a month late to your video but I feel you on the Boston airport weirdness. I had to walk to technically a different terminal to get food. It was weird AF.
Love you❤ inspirational
I guess not winning races could be stressful seeing as you have so much public support so I hope you get some real profitable results. Being so young you have a lot of time if you can afford to keep at it. I always root for you but I've also always rooted for Molly Seidel so it will be mixed emotions if the two of you ever race. :o)
OMG your awesome and I love watching your videos. Very inspiring 😊
Found out about you from a telegraph article fighting the power, heard about your RUclips from a video on Jog on, sticking around for the content, journey and great running tips until I see them 5 rings tattooed….. and if Dan wants to do a Gyros tutorial, that would be tight. 😅
Thank you 🥹 Gyros tutorial is being added to the list!
