Harry Potter means so much to me. I remember reading Philosopher's Stone for the first time and instantly becoming a fan... From then on, I've obsessed about it so much waiting for every book release ansiously. I was 16 when the book' series ended, and I felt so empty and so full at the same time. I've refused to watch the last two movies on the theatres because I didn't want it to end... (Can u imagine that?! I wanted the dream to keep going inside my mind... as if not watching the movies I would get a feeling that I would always have more Hogwarts years to attend) I've just watched them recently, and I felt empty and full again. Weird feelings. I'm sad Harry Potter stories are finished, but happy 'cause I grew up with its characters. Harry, Ron and Hermione have been my friends for such a long time (sometimes my only friends), that I can't put it in only words. When I (re)read Harry Potter I not only read it. I live it. I react to it. When I'm reading it I'm a witch, I'm a Slytherin, my favorite class is McGonnagal's, my favorite teacher is Snape, I have a crush on Draco Malfoy and somehow I hang out with the cool kids from Gryffindor. Harry Potter saved me when I was feeling down. It still saves me from time to time when I need a safer place to hide. Thank you, JK Rowling. You are my childhood, my adolescence. Sometimes you parented me, you thought me, you adviced me, you held my hand close. I'd like to thank the actors too.You had impersonated my best friends, my worst ennemies. You had given them face, gestures, voice. That's why we are superfans.
It is actually just a reflection of how intensely people like Harry Potter. The lengths they go to feel closer to the characters and the magic is so wonderful to see because actors thrive on these emotions. Tom,Daniel,Rupert,Emma and all the others ...they made us feel this way. They "have" something to do with it. And it is so strange how it seems to unravel when you see the actors in their normal clothes. The magic evaporates.
I grew up loving Tom Fletcher and I had a secret crush on 'Draco Malfoy' so much that Tom Felton just makes me melt now, these two together is my favourite thing
hold up. they deleted a scene with tom from an already epic documentary. i may have screamed even more during it if this had been in. but i'm so glad i can still glad i can watch it here
