This bill must be reviewed and thoroughly evaluated. It’s not fair for the MUP’s who are serving the country to bear such burden . These very people who are sitting inside airconditioned rooms feeling cozy and all do not feel the sacrifices nor throw a bit of empathy to the MUP’s and their families. Actually, there is so much money in government. The problem why the government always experiences a shortfall in the national budget is because of RAMPANT CORRUPTION. Sustaining the salaries of active members of all MUPs and the pensions of the retirees is not even a problem. The government just simply strengthens and makes it efficient in its tax and duties collection thru the BIR and BOC. These two agencies are graft-ridden from the ground up to the rafters. Curtailing corruption may be a challenging task but with POLITICAL WILL from the national leadership, it can be done. And why it cannot be done, considering all the immense powers in his hands, unless the national leadership has no intentions of addressing the problem of corruption which is, by the way, the most pernicious problem why does this country cannot move forward toward progress.

Ang uniformed personnel min 12 hours a day ang duty. 1 day off per week or sometimes walang day off. Pasko, bagong taon, holy week may pasok. Nitong nagdaang pandemic sila ang nasa kalsada at nagbubuwis ng buhay. Halos walang break, kulang ang oras sa pamilya.
Ang edad na 57 years old late na yun para sa isang uniformed personnel para ma enjoy ang pension. Iba ang nature ng trabaho nila mas mahirap at delikado.
Ok na mag contribute sila and that's it but not in favor na baguhin ang optional retirement.
