I've been working on my bello deck. Impending and theros gods depend on timestamps. If they enter after Bello, they aren't creatures.

Having Steve on the battlefield is a BAD thing for the player, longer than the turn he was played anyway. The land he gets you thins your deck, so you're more likely to draw a nonland card. Also, I hope Eric holds a stifle effect and attacks into Bells someday, just to counter the ability when he (Steve) blocks. 🙂 #causechaos

From what I understand, Bello and Nylea’s abilities are separate, and he would “animate” her with his ability if she were not a creature. She can swing in with haste.
However, his replacement ability is not a “may” so any enchantment creatures his effect applies to could become powered down (a 6/6 forcibly becomes a 4/4).
