  • Here at Bob's Market we use a pack planter robot from TTA to transplant pansies. This fall we will transplant over 100,000 flats!

    Whoa, this is so cool! I like that the machine makes a little squeak when picking up the pansies. :)

      They're working on it. The goal is to be 100% human-free by the end of next year.
      A lot of people think our jobs are going overseas but those pale in comparison to the jobs lost from computers, robots, and machines. It's time to tweak our economic model to incorporate all of our new automation.

    I really hate growing these things...too much trouble...worth every penny u pay if u have to have em...which i really dont...tho next year i will expand what i have about 10 fold...then i quit...no more pansy..maybe some johnny jump ups...but they are just as bad.

      This is just one step in the process. Our growers in the greenhouse are very hands on. The machine helps limit transplant shock so we actually get healthier plants as a result.
