I love Brazilian pizza. I've had it in L.A. The ones I had were a bit different from the one in this video. They had slices of linguica sausage instead of pepperoni and very little marinara and some ricotta too. It was delicious, out of this world. I want to try the one in this video. I will see if the Brazilian pizza place has it too.

@@MattDV Linguica on pizza is awesome! A regional chain called Abby's in the PNW has a pizza they call the "Hula Chick" on their menu that's thin-sliced linguica, chicken, and pineapple. I usually get it with BBQ sauce and extra cheese. The linguica gets all crispy on the edges, it's the bomb!

I used to love to go eat in that area, remember having collards cold in some side order, would love to have it again. I'm depending on you to find me a restaurant where i can eat good Portuguese food again, please, please! Not palm heart but hearts of palm,...lol😅

Go to SOL MAR on the corner of Ferry St and Chambers St. I’m Latina and my family started going there in the mid 1970s and we still go TO THIS DAY! It’s soooooo good !

Wowzer, that pizza slice looked like a meal in it self. I never tried that soda but I've seen it on sale at Food Bazaar in North Bergen.
Yed it was a meal. Some Alfredo sauce would have given it a 10. 🙂

Damn that pizza with the green olives and eggs I've never seen that on a pizza before but that looks absolutely good I bet it is good 👍 you know what I'm going to make this myself personally later on tonight because I know how to make pizzas I have all the ingredients to make this particular Pizza yeah I need to try that out

@@MattDV hey good morning Matt just woke up about 30 minutes ago and yes I did make that pizza last night it was good the green olives gave it a very distinctive taste but it was very good and yes I did put eggs on it also and pepperoni lol

@@MattDV Naw bro I post the address as well. It's like in the back of a ferry. The address is 275 Chestnut St, Newark NJ. The pizza is good and the sauce is as well. Grandma Pie, regular slice, and pepperoni slice. If you do get the chance to go, get the grandma square pie and ask for extra sauce on the side. Or the slice. Idk if the owners still run the place but hopefully they have changed their recipe. I love your work, I have been saving places to go to when I have the time.

If people opening restaurants from other countries and advertise their food of their county I wish they would actually sell some of the authentic food from their country. I don't want the Americanized version. The pizza looked good even though I don't ear some thing that was on the pizza. I can see people eating that pizza for breakfast as well.
Yes, what I understand is that Pizza is big there. Today, Brazil's largest city is only second to New York City in the number of pizzas consumed daily, with over 572,000 produced each day.
I'm from Brazil. I can confirm that pizza 100% looks like the ones we have here. Not americanized at all.
